Went to pick up the car once I arrived at the airport and they told be they ran out of cars. Due to the late notice I wasn’t able to find a rental that was affordable but rather the day of price which add $200 to the bill. Very unfortunate won’t be trusting this company again

Our flights changed and j simply could not get a hold of anyone to tell them that our pickup time would be later. I ended up cancelling and booking through a local company in Tahiti who communicated excellently and were far better value for money.

The drop off process was bad. Only one person working with a huge line. No key drop off box.
I love the flexibility of drop off the car at the airport. It would be great if I could be told specifically where to pick up the car. I thought I rent the car at the airport, but the actual pickup location is at the ferry port. Since I arrived by ferry, I wasted a trip to the airport just to find out that I need to go back to the ferry port to pick up the car.

We reserved a 5 passenger car. We were given a 4 passenger car. We were told there weren’t any 5 passenger vehicles until August. I had to make 2 trips from Avis to the Hilton because I could not fit all of our party in the vehicle. Even though the next day there were 5 passenger vehicles on the lot, I was told they were already reserved. I had to go back because the tire pressures light would not turn off but was told it was ok. I also reserved a 5 passenger vehicle, but that didn’t matter and I had to rent a 5 passenger vehicle from the hotel so all of our party could go on a day trip. The AVIS staff was not sympathetic and most of the people I saw driving on the island with a 5 passenger AVIS car were 2 people. I would never rent from Avis on Moorea again.
the queue was very slow moving as there was only one lovely lady (Mareva) sorting out car hire, we waited well over an hour and a half at least to get our car which after being awake around 26 hours is too long. there should be at least 2 or 3 people on when a flight gets in.

The help we received in Moorea after the car was broken into was fabulous! The agent came after hours to get us a new car because of the broken window, he was so kind and helpful.

Drop off was terrible. Attendant rude as we were late with return. No one from agency called us to tell us there was a problem
