Nice Car, excellent service.
As we came to the rental desk and wanted the detailed price info, we were not treated very polite, it seemed that they wanted to rent the car very quickly. The lady at the desk was quite impatient and said the car was fine. we first didn't want to sign the confirmation that all is ok and wanted to check the car first. As we saw the car there were a lot of scratches and other stuff that were not ok. We asked the lady to come outside and note down everything. Only then we signed the contract. Be careful and check the car before. The streets in Bonaire are not good.
The paperwork said the gas tank was full, but it was only at 5/8. I neglected to notice it until it was too late to do anything about. No way I could prove it. . . My dive buddy had the same thing happen to him, but he had taken a picture of the odometer and gas gauge and told them right away.
Good vehicles, available directly from the airport. It takes a long time at check-in, plan 15-20 minutes per person renting a car so it could be an hour or 2 to get through the line. They are very particular about sand, driving locations and potential risks so read the wavers. I ended up with a great vehicle for what I needed (upgraded at the counter) and it did well my entire trip.
Nothing as promised and very badly informed personnel left us without rental car.
