Excellent, Edwin eagerly and thoroughly filled the rental contract of the vehicle, explaining all options. Was then politely greeted by Gabriel at the end of the rental, making sure my rental was to our satisfaction.

I can not believe it took close to an hour to finally have the keys in hand. I have rented and traveled many times, this was a first. I felt the attendant, although friendly and patient, wanted my 1st born before sealing the deal. I provided my driver's license and insurance as usual but, they required a copy of my declaration sheet as proof of full coverage. I'm sure he was only do his job; however, maybe during booking this should all be addressed so there are no surprises at arrival for pickup. Thx you

It was ok. When our flight was delayed it a little late and trying to get a hold of someone through kayak was impossible. I had the app to be to reschedule or cancel the rental and it was impossible. I called I tried to chat with someone live and it was just saying contact us on regular business hours. So I called first thing in the morning and the representative said it was to late to cancel. I was very upset. I had to rent another car and lost my 1 rental car. I will never go through kayak again.

1. It's not *at* the airport, so you need to take a 10 minute shuttle. 2. Shuttle appears regularly and was comfy and A/C'd. 3. They hard-sell you additional insurance and EZPass daily charges at checkout. It ended up adding about 20% to our total which completely negated going for an "off-airport" place. I *knew* I should have been more forceful, but the attendant was asking for my full policy papers and there was a line behind me and I had just come off a long flight, so they count on you just giving up. Grrrrr.

I liked that there was an upgraded in my vehicle since they had me waiting for over an hour before I was picked up at the airport. I liked that a ticket was removed which I did not know of having knowledge of for crossing a private bridge. However, I did not like that the windshield pump was damaged and all the windshield fluid was gone. When I bought some if drained quickly because of damaged to the container. This added stress to the trip specially during rainy days. The windshield had a glare that made it difficult to drive even after several cleanings with soap and water. The wipers were not working properly.

They said they had underage fees on the website but it turns out you have to be at least 23! So we all showed up after the flight ready to grab our car and we couldn’t. So stressful! Terribly run company and they gave us NO heads up whatsoever! Because of them we almost got marooned out in Puerto Rico

They only accept visa or Mastercard and I only had my debit card with me because I thought I payed for it I line and they said it didn’t pay it just held my reservation since the card I used wasn’t a Mastercard or visa. So not only did I need full coverage on top of having to pay tolls and they held $400 on my debit card until I returned the vehicle. It was very unprofessional and my car was all messed up. A while in the bumper and sends and scratches on the front and back bumper. Do notttt use them!

Nice vehicle. No problems with it. Drop off was easy. Pick up - we waited for over an hour for the car to be brought up (along with others) not being told we could go to the vehicle and check out despite asking about it. I was told I would get an email after turning it in which I did not seem to get. Bill was more than expected or initially presented and I don't yet know why.

I had reserved a 3-row SUV, but only a mini-van was available upon arrival. The queuing situation was a little confusing, so I was evidently waiting for an agent in the wrong place. When he realized this (i.e., when I finally came up to him), he said he couldn't help me, since I wasn't in the right line, and he made me go to the end of the line. The people in front of me had a mismatch between their reservation (under the wife's name) and the driver's license (the husband). The difficult agent mentioned above did not help them, for instance by modifying their reservation. He just refused to figure out a way for them to get the car that they had reserved and paid for. I found this a pretty amazingly ungenerous way to act.

The car was very clean and nice. The pick up of the vehicle was great and my car was ready to go as soon as I arrived off the plane for pick up. It has been over 24 hours And I still have not received my 300$ deposit, nor have a received an email or text about my deposit. I returned the car in the exact same condition as well as with a full tank of gas. This is unacceptable. When I asked the lady at the desk when I would receive my deposit back she said “whenever the guy down in returns closes out your ticket”

Our plane tickets were changed by the airlines due to the expected snow. (We had 8 inches.). We contacted Avis and asked them if they would hold our reservation until Sunday. We said we were willing to honor paying for seven days when we would only be using it six. They said they would try holding it 24 hours. We had a couple of conversations with them with the same answer. When we arrived in San Juan we went straight to the counter and the lady informed us that our reservation had been cancelled because of the 24 hour time frame. She said the only car left was a two passenger vehicle and we were traveling with family. Our satisfaction would be rated a “0”. We received zero help, zero consideration, and zero assistance. We didn’t change our flight but Avis sure rented our car and we are sure it was for more $$ than OUR rental would have been. So no, we will never use Avis again! Mary Gibson

Staff at pickup counter was very rude. I had ordered a 7 passenger minivan, they were trying to give me a Hyundai Santa Fe & insisting that it would be the same. Eventually gave me an old minivan with a broken key fob and a shot suspension! Very disappointed!
