Room was good, clean, bed comfortable. Lovely painting fresco ceiling, but no window to room which made it feel a bit closed in. Complimentary tea and coffee available in lounge area. Historic building. Excellent location, close to all the sites and train station.
Breakfast was prepared for you, so not able to choose yourself. A sweet breakfast- which wasn’t really my thing. But I’m sure lots of people love pastries, cake for breakfast.
Amazing location 5 min walk from The train station and 10 mins walk from Everything else. Really welcoming and friendly staff very clean
Mattress was very uncomfortable needs to be replaced or mattress topper added
Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, stunning view from room, great help planning where to go / what to do with limited time.
The shower door fell off which prevented us from getting showered and we had to then wait till the next day for it to be fixed. This messed up our plans completely. When I tried to tell the man on front of house Mario he told me that it was impossible that I hadn’t broken it and if I didn’t stop talking he would call the police. Disgraceful. The sheets and towels all smell funny and the rooms look...
Almost everything could have been better. Mainly the communication and the lack of sympathy for our situation. We should never have had to wait on a shower and I think that they should have offered us something to compensate. They didn’t seem to care though.Read more
The place is a palace that has been converted into a hotel, the building looks ordinary but the room we took was a suite with ancient paintings on the ceiling, an atmosphere of the past. Close to the train station, within walking distance of everywhere. Amazing welcome, smiling, explaining and connecting us to the hospitality.
Great and helpful staff. Booked us a taxi to the airport. Lovely space and great location.
We stayed in an amazing double room, with a gorgeous fresco above our bed.
