The whole hotel interior design is incredible! all victorian antique furniture, wall papers and a lot of attention to details. the rooms as well as all the halls and the big comfortable lobby (i would live there...) the Sherry and cookies there share every afternoon.
the breakfast can be better! just with addition of crumble eggs, and a bit variety of cheeses and some vegetable...
I love the historic charm and the close proximity to Japan Town. The staff was accommodating, friendly and the breakfast was very good.

Friendly staff, beautiful hotel, great character. The room was comfy, more than enough space for 3. We rented the executive suite. Breakfast was good and the vibe is just really nice.
Slow sink drain, the bathroom sink kept on getting backed up. My husband heard other units had the same issue. I understand, it's an old building, wish they could work on them though. Drapes were dusty, furniture needs to be repaired because everything is antique. That being said, I return again.

the staff are great especially the guy (sorry didn't get his name) who greeted us at breakfast and kept the area spotless. The location was good. Really good restaurants within walking distance and not too far from activities we wanted to do in the City. Front desk Staff were helpful. We were surprised that they had a driver in the morning that would drop us off at City locations. Nice touch of ha...

I loved all the soft comfort--even the elevator has a bench! Two fireplaces down stairs with lots of cozy couches and chairs. There is always tea and coffee on hand and a little tea and sherry get together 4-6. It was our anniversary and we were gifted a bottle of prosecco and a little box of chocolates. Sweet touches.
