Great location and great dining.
Pretty hot in room and didn’t cool off all night first night. No air conditioning and large stuffy room until air established. Gaps in door let tremendous light in from hall. Need more washcloths and hand towels for two night stay. Large closet, but only one suitcase stand? Room for several... had to put second suitcase on the floor.
The hotel was beautiful and everyone was very friendly. We did a tour of the hotel which was a ton of fun!
Our room was smaller than expected but still beautiful and we were happy overall
I love this classic hotel from yesteryear. As you drive into this charming little town, you can see this majestic hotel in the distance. It was beautiful. The restaurant was great; good food, reasonable prices.
It would be good if the room prices were a little lower. It would make me want to come back more often.
Small problems due to communication between third party and modifying original plans. Stanley staff made it right. I visit this place often and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

That the front desk never answered the phone.
Historic hotel, beautiful setting
LOUD. Old hotel=walls made of paper. Add in people roaming the halls at all hours ghost hunting, screaming when they "see" one, trying out all the doors. Fun, but no sleep.
Building was cool, location was awesome
Customer service was bad, heat was not working in our room, shower water temp barely above 100 degrees.
The tour and the staff including the location was wonderful! The hotel itself is beautiful and we enjoyed being able to visit!
We paid quite a bit of money for our room and the tub wasn’t even cleaned out. I wanted this room for the spa tub and the jets were so dirty. Even the Kurig coffee maker wasn’t cleaned out! My husband cleaned the bathtub for me but the jets in the tub didn’t end up working and just leaked out more nasty residue. Extremely disappointing.
