Guests appreciate the hotel's excellent location near major attractions like the Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay. However, many reviews mention that the rooms are small, basic, and lack amenities, leading to a perception of poor value for the price paid. Cleanliness is generally praised, but some guests noted issues with noise and accessibility due to stairs.

Pros (+) The location is great, 5-10minute walk from Circular Quay Station and ferries. It is close to the Opera house. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The views from the room and the roof are spectacular.
Cons (-) There was nothing i didn't like.

Pros (+) Old world charm in an unbeatable location with staff who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The manager Val deserves a special mention. The hotel is newly refurbished and the room was quiet and spacious and the beds very comfortable. Bar and Bistro on site with good pub food including breakfast. Plenty of other eating options close by.
Cons (-) Not enough power points in the room. The bathroom set up was awkward with shower over bath which was slippery but not all rooms are like this. Vehicle access can be difficult for those with disability.

Pros (+) The motel is recently opened up from renovations and everything was brand new.
Cons (-) Rooms were very noisy. On check in, we were offered a set of ear plugs to cater for the noise. Arranged a different room, but still heard every noise from outside.

Pros (+) Beautifully renovated boutique hotel. Great location right next to the harbour in the historic Rocks precinct with trains, ferries and light rail connections all on the doorstep. Large, beautifully appointed room with very comfortable bed. The inclusion of a full cooked breakfast makes this great value for money.
Cons (-) Be aware that the rooms have shared bathroom facilities.

Pros (+) We were privileged to be first guests to arrive to witness the finished results of 5 years of renovations. Brilliant. Owners have kept the character of the hotel and upgraded facilities perfectly. Felt like royalty way we received and service was second to none. Special mention of Valentine concierge for his welcome and professional service.
Cons (-) Nothing
