Toyota car hires in Murcia

We appreciated the shuttle to departures at Malaga Airport. Louis/Lee? was very friendly and helpful. The was a problem at the pickup location with the type of car that we had pre-booked so that caused a delay however it was resolved promptly and we were happy with the service there.

We booked online for €133 but when we got there they charged us over 400. They never told us when we originally booked that there was a young driver fee even though we put in age 24 at the start of the booking. We picked up the car in Murcia by the train station but the woman there had no English and we had to use google translate which took awhile. Car was good and clean but overall the experience was confusing especially because we were dropping the car back to Alicante airport but we had no instructions about where in the airport it was as the woman had no English and the translation wasn’t making sense. We eventually found the drop off location in the car park so all worked out in the end. Would definitely check other car rental websites as the young driver charge was more than the cost of renting the car.

I liked the car and it’s amenities. If a business in a foreign country caters to tourists then at least have them study rudimentary English. Miscommunication costs me $23. I know it’s nominal but could have been a great deal worse.
