There were around 75 people standing in line for 1 1/2 to 2 hours Friday night to check out cars. I missed my party. Staff said that that was typical for the weekend. Not acceptable!

PHL Airport location has no phone number and didn’t have a vehicle ready for me. The one I got was overdue for an oil change and had tread separation on a recently replaced tire. The vehicle wobbled & shook terribly during the 90 minute drive in the middle if the night to our residence. The roadside assistance rep gave 2 options; 1) pay to have the spare put on and drive back to the PHL location to swap vehicles but since they don’t have a phone there is no guarantee a vehicle is available. 2) pay for a new tire and bring the receipt to PHL for a refund. They wouldn’t email a confirmation on this though so I was suspicious. Sure enough, the manager acted like it was an unheard of solution and said the tire was my responsibility. Never again will I rent from Dollar.

The girl at the counter was rude. She offered me an upgrade, as per protocol I assume, and continued to ask after a no answer. I was then asked regarding insurance. I said I had full coverage and did not need their insurance. They then asked for my insurance info which I di not carry with me. Maybe it should be told to have this info handy. It took me over 30 minutes to complete this process.

Need better customer service at the location. No inventory even though reservation was confirmed by kayak. Charged upgrade fee because they could not provide me van as per my booking.
