The insurance price was high and we found the rental somewhat higher than in other countries visited even the isolated Iceland. Another recommendation I have is there is no manual for the car and it had some useful features not easy to figure out unless very technically minded. The hand brake function and the + // - on the gear stick settings. I found the gear stick could shift to the right away from the driver yet this could have been a serious error - who knows without a manual.

When I purchased the rental before my trip, it was for a Toyota Camry. When I got to the airport they wanted to give me a Chevy Malibu. They told me they didn't have any Camrys. Not that they were out of Camrys, they said they didn't have any. (I did ask specifically to clarify) They told me that the ad says "or similar vehicle" Well a Malibu has an engine, 4 wheels and 4 doors, but further similarities are about as generic as I the ones I mentioned. If I had wanted a Chevy that is what I would have rented. Ended up taking a Volkswagen Passat. Wasn't a bad car, but still, not what I asked for.

S’assurer que les employés d’Enterprise qui gère vos locations ne laisse pas partir les clients avec des plaques d’immatriculation volées sur les véhicules. Ne jamais parler à un client qui loue une voiture chez vous de changement d’huile. L’huile synthétique ca dure 12000km, quand on loue chez vous pour 7000km assurez vous que les voitures sont prêtes à partir.

The attendant told us that the car had no damage when it had been clearly in an accident. And the indicator was on for “needs maintenance “. The tires needed alignment and the transmission sounded terrible. Clearly no one is looking at these cars. We had only a short trip-thankfully.
