We didn’t have a reservation. Enterprise called us before we arrived to pick up the car to say that they couldn’t understand how our reservation was made since they were totally sold out. Our experience with them was great even though we did not rent a car with them.

The price I got online was 139$ and when I got there they told me to pay 240$ that was the only issue, other than that staff was friendly and customer service is on point. Pick up was faultless - easy to find at terminal 3 Toronto, and also return was easy to find, park and hand over car. Reported a few issues with the car to ensure the next person didn't have same problems - basically wiper needed renewing and service!, otherwise all good! Staff were helpful and curtious.. 10 out of 10!

The gal that helped us (I believe her name was Amy) was fantastic to deal with and made certain we were in the most comfortable vehicle for our party. She also made some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area.
Someone should have been available to give me the car when I got to the garage after completing the paperwork at the rental counter. Instead, I waited in a freezing cold garage for more than 30 minutes before getting someone on the phone who said I had to journey back to the rental counter. The delay affected my scheduled arrival with my family.

The drop off was great! The pick up was terrible. The employee at the counter was complaining about Immigrants and liberals. First, he himself is an immigrant ( maybe from India?) who said HE came to Canada at college age ( somehow he is entitled) and now that he is in, he wants to pull the ladder for anyone else to come to Canada. I guess the fact that I am a blonde, fair skinned person made him think I am a racist. Completely turned me off. What a hypocrite. I guess the irony went over his head.

The pick up was fast, and the drop off was easy. The car was clean, and comfortable. The only little thing is that we didn’t have winter tires in end October and we had snow on our way. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
I had a little misunderstanding with refilling the gas but it was sorted out easily and I had a great experience with the National employees! Thank you so much

I booked a dodge challenger but given a ford escape. The ford interior had not been vacuumed and had dirt and food debris in the console/gear shift. The exterior of the vehicle had not been washed and the windshield was covered with dead bugs. However, the drop-off at Toronto Pearson Airport was smooth and efficient

The frond desk employees were not a pleasure to deal with. The person who handled the pick-up was distracted and when I ask for clarification on something, he was arrogant and dismissive. When we had a problem during our trip, the employee who answered the phone showed no compassion or interest in our situation and did not handle the situation professionally. He even gave very unsound advice. I ended up contacting the manager who thankfully was very supportive, listened to our concerns and was overall exceptional in her customer service! Unfortunately, the front desk people are the first and last interactions that customers have. I will probably not rent with Thrifty again.

Pick up was a mess. Drop off was great! They don't answer the phone.
I rented the van until 530 pm on Jan 6th. When I picked it up it said I had to have the car back at 930 am or I would be charged extra fees Brought it back at 930 to be told I could have kepted it and why did I bring it back early. I already made arrangements for a new car at that time. Basically lost 1 day and paid for 1 day that I could have used the car but was lied too. Would like a refund for 1 day

I paid for what they advertised as an Audi A4 or similar. I get to the airport and they said their equivalent is a Chrysler 300 or Dodge Charger. So basically it as a straight up lie. I’m sorry but an equivalent vehicle would’ve been a Mercedes or BMW. My car didn’t even have leather. What a joke. Never renting from this company again and will be writing a Google review to warn others as well.
