Poor|May 2022

Birmingham counter was not open at 17:30, open hours 8am- 4 pm. Midtown Hertz location also close, open hours in internet 8am-4pm . Next morning 3 calls, message to voice Mail, no reply, 5 km walk from hotel to Hertz to get reserved car…. Hertz not open. Written paper hanging on the door… coming back 12am. Thanks a lot! Kept on walking to find a rental office having a car to rent. 5 more kilometers of training and two open rental offices….. and then found perfekt customer service, good car and again excelent service at returning the car, made us new loyal customers and fans of Enterprice car rental in Birmingham. Thank you ms T and everybody in Enterprise Birmingham central.

My booking was for 8.00am, I arrived at 7.35am - I could collect the car for an extra charge of GBP105... I opted to go for breakfast, better value for money. Returned at 8.15 and stood in the British January weather in the wide open for 15 to 20 minutes waiting for my turn to even get inside. This is when the magic really started - my Renault Captur (classed as an SUV by Sixt) was turned into a Skoda Fabia (manual) which is not even listed as an option with Sixt but the Automatic version is considered a saloon - yes, somehow Sixt believe that a typical Hatchback is the same as a saloon... Overall, how would I rate the Sixt experience - one of the worst ever and I have been renting cars at UK airports for over 10 years, on average once per month.

Atrocious service. Arrived with my dog after checking terms & conditions were fine, to be told my dog was 'too excited' & so I was refused my car. Of course I was not offered a refund. We all know what car hire companies can be like. Avoid this one until it goes out of business
