Zandvoort is also called "Amsterdam Beach" because you can get to Amsterdam Central Station in just 30 minutes by train! You can visit various events there such as the world famous Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort and the ADAC GT Masters. ## Transit Zandvoort aan Zee has its own train station, which you can get in just 27 minutes from Amsterdam Central and 45 minutes from Schiphol Airport. The train station is at a 4-minute walking distance from the accommodation. There is a direct line to Haarlem as well. So, public transport will get you around very well depending on your plans.
