Car worked great. The drop off was a bit confusing - had to bring it to a different office and drop keys in the drop box.
I took a 55 min flight from SoCal then waiter over 60 min to get to the counter. While at the counter the service (from Avis, no Budget) was excellent.
First off they moved me to Avis which has charged me double what i was signed up to pay. took me off unlimited mileage when they moved me to the option of not paying for gas and marked that I agreed to the 0 - 74 miles after that is was $18.95 a mile. I did fill up the gas tank but still, i did not agree to the miles change. I will never use Avis again or Budget if this is a common practice. I will stick with Enterprise.
No customer service counter personnel. 1 1/2 hour wait to get car. Staff pleasant and knowledgeable. Pricing not better than other companies. Car supllied was too samll..
Did not disclose that there would be a speed limit cap on sports car. Made it difficult and distracting to drive with flow of traffic due to constant alarming. Seems unsafe as well since car would slow down when approaching top speed set by car. If I had to speed up to avoid an obstacle, would prevent me from being able to do so. Ironically, the cap made car more unpredictable and less safe.
