We waited TWO HOURS (past reservation time!) for our car to arrive. Customer after customer (before and after us) had the same experience. The staff did a great job of communicating and keeping everyone informed, but a two hour wait for a car reserved in advance is just shocking.

Problem wasn't with Enterprise it was with Kayak. There was no van available. Even after confirmation was sent Enterprise didn't have any available vans. Customer service at Kayak was "it's not our problem"

Wonderful|May 2023

The car was fantastic, no issues with a few scratches and bumps here and there but the Hertz team was very respectful and helpful all the way through. They were on the same page as me and promptly provided any previous bumps and scratches documentation in an email. They weren’t out to get my money and my drop off was unbelievably smooth. As a first time car renter I would highly recommend Hertz at Bloor-Yonge to anyone and I will surely use their services again. Thanks especially to the desk liaison who assisted me & the employee who helped me dropping off the car. You both exhibited excellent customer service.

There shouldn't be an option to drop off a car after closing hours if the charge is for each 24hr period. (I.e. if the office closes at 4 that should be the latest possible drop off for that day). Providing a "choice" for later drop-off that same day is misleading, since you will be charged the same amount even if you drop off the car the next day before the 24hr period elapses (at least for Hertz). If I had known that was the case, I would have chosen an earlier drop-off (3:30 instead of 7) and saved an entire day in the price.

I did not receive the vehicle requested. I had booked an SUV (Toyota RAV) and got a Chrysler 300 instead. I confirmed my booking the day before prior to pick up, and was disappointed on the day of pick up they did not have the vehicle I requested. In fairness a partial refund should be issued for not living up to the agreement.

The car had terrible wheel calibration, which caused vibration and noise. The interior was dirty. The dropoff conditions were awful

Pickup location was closed at time of rental. Their head office couldn't secure a car at another location so the rental had to be cancelled.

The branch phone was never answered, and I had a lot of trouble picking up and dropping off the car, with no customer service to help me do so. I had the car back early but it took me almost an hour to drop it off!
