Car was okay picked up vehicle in dirty condition / Smelly. The vehicle had scratches and dents all over it that weren't reported apparently. Right rear tire was flat 10 PSI low. The employees at the counters have an attitude. Car smelled like feet, cabin air filter was nasty. Seats had stains on it armrests were dirty. I will never use budget again.

Many options to choose from. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately vehicle had not been clean due to short staff and busy schedule. Had bottles, stains , crumbs, chewed up straws still inside vehicle.

Quick, efficient pickup. Speedy drop off. Warning light was on for oil check…company should have checked that out earlier and dealt with the recommended oil change!
I got there and the reservation was never put through. I was stranded in a new city without a vehicle

This is not a reflection on Hertz but Kayak - made the reservation thru Kayak for $473 - was supposed to get a confirmation from Hertz but did not - got on Hertz website to make sure I had a car reserved and it said I would need to pay $1100 at the Hertz desk. Made a new reservation thru Expedia at Alamo - received confirmation immediately.

Got in the crowded line prior to my pickup time. Got to the counter 30 minutes prior to my scheduled time and went through the entire process, noticed there was an additional charge in my paperwork, asked them what it was and they then notified me that they were charging me for picking up an hour early. Got to the car and there were stains throughout and trash still in it. Showed up to the drop-off office and it was close. No instructions were given for dropping off the rental. Called every number available and no one answered. Circled around for more than 20 minutes until a neighboring hotel staff member helped us. An hour later, I received a notification from my bank that I was charged $100 by Hertz. Checked my email and there was no explanation.

Rental office closed on Saturday and Sunday. We needed to be 150 miles away on Saturday evening for a Sunday tee time. Had to rent from another rental company as Enterprise at Eurgene airport had NO cars available - which we found out after standing in line for an hour. So did not use this rental and won't make reservations on it ever again.

The only issue is picking up the vehicle. It is not clear where to go once you leave the building. There are only small signs at each stall which you can’t see if there are cars parked. You get a stall number but that doesn’t help when you don’t know which row it is or where the collection of Dollar cars are.

Worst rental car I have ever been in. Dirty, banged up, old and the engine made a funny noise. Was afraid to drive it. No other cars available, apparently. Can't believe it is part of their fleet. Staff were friendly and easy pick up and drop off. I am hoping that the car quality was an anomaly but make sure the car is ok before you drive it off the lot. I should have tried another rental company but the weather was bad and we were already in it.

I got charged $63.00 for fuel charges. I fueled the car before returning it. Now I will have to submit a ticket and spend two hours on the phone with an agent.
Very convenient to have agents and cars right at Eugene airport. No shuttle. Agents very friendly. One small but important glitch. My agent forgot to return my driver's license and credit card to me. Fortunately, I realized this about 5 min after leaving the counter and could come back and get it.

The car I originally got from my reservation had expired tags. Oregon lifted their offer to be lenient on expired tags in January 2022. Not to mention if I were to get pulled over, I would get a ticket. If I got pulled over by a State Trooper, I could get a misdemeanor. Not willing to risk it, My companion and I had to fight to get a different car with non expired tags. Even paying for the class upgrade ourselves because all of the other cars in the class I made a reservation for that they had available had expired tags.
