Rented the car using the kayak app realize the rental was 20 mi away from the airport. Cancel the rental 5 minutes after I made the rental from Hertz. Still got charged on my credit card still fighting the charges even though I never made the rental never picked it out never used the car and canceled it 5 minutes after I made the reservation. Your website takes no accountability and just says canceling is up to the one who makes the listing total BS never will rent anything from kayak again

After I got to the Hertz desk, I had to turn around with all my luggage and go back into the parking lot I had just come from because the desk was closed. They need better signage! The woman at the Hertz desk was really out of it. She did not know what a sedan was! She could not find cars even though the colleague working next to her (who was very nice) told her there were cars available. When I got to the car, it smelled terribly like smoke. I went back and had to work with the same woman to find another car.

Agent in providence was very helpful and accommodating
They did not specify the charges. When I picked up the car, the attendant told me if I prepaid for gas, they would credit back the difference of the gas unused back to my card. When i dropped off the car they said it was a one time price and there was no exchanges. great way to run a little 30 dollar scam.

I booked a “Camry or similar” and they tried to give me a Kia Forte. Not even close. After talking with them about it, they gave me a Kia Sportage. Better, but still not what I paid for. Maybe it won’t be everyone’s experience, but you wanted honest feedback.

I had the rental for a week and had to put air in the right front tire every other day and to top that off the engine light, oil change as well low tire light were ALWAYS on. Never again from this company!
