I searched for "Reno airport" and found this reservation with Hertz. But, it was NOT at the Reno airport, so I had to make another reservation. Unfortunately, Kayak or Hertz would not give me a refund.

I booked car rental 4 days prior to my trip. I got 2 confirmations from Hertz about the reservation. Couple hours before my arrival while i am on my connection flight i got a phone call from Hertz canceling my reservation as they could not accommodate it due to car unavailability. I got to Reno with no car available throughout town and had to use Uber. Hertz branch manager was not helpful and very rude.

Our flight was delayed and HERTZ gave away my rental because we got in late. Clearly NOT OUR FAULT. It was already paid in full. This was most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of or experienced. They didn’t even offer us an instant refund or just refund immediately and now I have to deal with their customer service for no reason. On top of everything else we had to pay an additional $300 for Ubers to and from Reno airport

I had a reservation and I got their before 9:00am and they saw that I had a reservation; but said they had a glitch in their system and put me on a list and try helping me and hid in the back behind a door in office and said we will not have a car into after 1:00 pm and totally left me hanging!! I had to get to work and had no ride? It was a horrible day!! Thanks

So many things were horrible with this rental. First, we didn’t realize it was offsite pickup. That would have been ok, but for the fact they have no shuttle. We had to get a taxi to take us there. Uber wanted $23 to go 2 miles. Then, the car was dirty inside - had not been vacuumed at all. It was impossible to adjust the seat to make it comfortable. When we were in Tahoe, a light came on - “Engine Malfunction - get inspection!” This was pretty scary. It took 3 calls over 45 minutes to get roadside assistance on the line. He told us to take the car to the Hertz rental at the Ritz Carlton in Tahoe, or the one at the Truckee airport. The next day, I called both locations (Googled their numbers), and neither number was correct. I then called customer support, but couldn’t reach anyone. I called every number on the rental agreement (5 different ones), but all went to the same automated number where you can’t speak to anyone. I called roadside assistance again, but an automated message told me there was no one to help me, and then disconnected me. I finally called the location I rented the car from and she told me there were no Hertz locations at either location, and didn’t know why roadside assistance told me there were alternate locations. I then asked her what to do since I wasn’t able to reach roadside assistance. She told me that if the car broke down, to call roadside assistance for a tow. I asked her how we get back to Reno, and she said to ride in the tow truck. I told her that my mother and I were traveling together with four pieces of luggage, and we’d never fit in a tow truck. She told me they wouldn’t pay for a taxi or Uber. This was Hertz, not a half-rate company. It was extremely disappointing from the company that prides itself for being number one!
I wouldn't want to rent a car from anyone else in town!! The location is great, The whole staff that work there are so nice, professional, and the service is so quick. The cars are great, and the drop off is so convenient. As always, thank you everyone!!!!
Pick up there were delays of 30-45 minutes after I arrived. They had to bring cars from airport and clean and they weren’t ready despite 10A pick ip and I arrived at 10:15. Car smelled like smoke and tank half full. Staff at front desk and pick up was very kind and professional. It was clear they were doing their best.

Rented for $220 online. Pickup at 6pm, drop-off at 6pm. Enterprise calls to tell me they are closing early so can I pick up the vehicle earlier. I said yes since my flight was expected to arrive at 2pm. A triple delayed flight brought me to Reno at 4:45 pm. I tried to work with the airport car rental desk, but they were no help. They just wasted my time. Which allowed the Mill Street location to close before I arrived. The next morning the Mill Street location wanted to charge me almost double the price, $436, for the rental. So, after being of no help at the airport, closing early at the Mill Street location 15 minutes before I could get there and then acting like they were doing me a favor to give my the rental at the agreed price, I have no use for Enterprise anymore.
