I didn't have a happy experience AT ALL. I rented a 15 passenger van 2 months PRIOR to my pick up date. Something went wrong and they didn't have what I asked to rent, BUT I COULD HAVE A 12 PASSENGER VAN FOR THE PRICE OF THE 15, SINCE THE RATES INCREASED. Not once was I notified that there was a problem, not one apology from anyone on the counter. For my so called inconvenience, I was told to bring the van back empty (not filled with gas) and I should just be happy I got any van because I showed up for pickup at 2:30pm instead of 12pm. I was late due to a flight delay in St Louis, MO but you had the option to cancel my rental after 2 hours late. JUST WOW. When I did return the van before my scheduled time, I was charged $206.79 for 20.7 gallons at $9.99/gallon. I would have filled the van up had I known that! I will never use Budget or Avis again. I don't know why I bothered writing this. You got your money, NO ONE CARES!

It took almost an hour to get our car (and we had a six month old baby in 80+ degree heat) after we spent 30 minutes at the desk on the paperwork. Sounds like the location of the cars was far away from the airport even though we had a reservation for a van and the correct pick up time.

The guy at the counter was not helpful even mocked me then when i go to pick up the keys the workers sat there on their phones and had bad attitudes my advice dont rent from budget ad Pensacola airport

The only issue with the car was a low tire pressure indicator that stayed on for the entire rental period. Otherwise it was a painless experience. No hidden price surprises, and everyone was very friendly.
The emphatic the pick up location was extremely helpful and walked me out the the rental area!

It was almost impossible to cancel the reservation. First you are advised to call, then you are told you cannot speak to anyone. Then the website was difficult to use to cancel. Then I get assessed a cancellation fee. Outrageous!

I left my iPhone in the car and when I returned to get it, they had already moved it. I told the attendant what happened and he sent some one to go check the back seat and with in 2 minutes I have my phone back. I so much appreciated that
Car stunk of cigarette smoke. It was a bigger process than we imagined getting the car at the airport and once we did, we didn’t feel like going back and asking for another SUV so we just drove with the windows down a lot.

easy pick up - easy drop off. car was the perfect size for a family of 5 and lots of room for luggage.
What a mess in Pensacola. Two agents for a line of people stretching out into the baggage claim. 40 minutes in line to get the car. Otherwise no issues.

Nice car, lousy attitude of personnel, and ridiculous over-rental-time policy. Let’s face it: Travel involves lots of unexpected events….like cancelled flights. But be assured…..that doesn’t matter to Avis or their employees, even if you’re only two hours late. They’re gonna charge you another FULL day — with a “so sad…..too bad” attitude. I have told Avis they have lost a good customer forever. Arrogance and stupid policies don’t mix well with proper customer service.

Drop off was super easy
30 minute wait to get to the counter then another 30 minute wait for them to get our vehicle to us. Why we waited we watched the shuttle driver park and walk in to get a bag of food, then when I asked how long until he had our vehicle he said it was next. Only to bring the wrong one. About 30 minutes later we had our vehicle.
