Nissan car hires in Bristol

Handling of costumer at the desk was very poor. I was denied for the car I had booked and after wasting one and a half hour at desk we were upgraded. There policy was not clear.

The easiest and friendliest car rental process ever! Booked online for Nelson Airport pickup and return Feb ‘24. Cheerful and helpful man at the desk. No surprises. Smooth process. But be aware that there is an extra surcharge for the airport ( ours was $45).

They gave me a ride back to my hotel after I returned the car....

The car made an insane vibrating bass sound that people could hear from outside, it sounded like there was some black market subwoofer in there. I rented this car to attend my grandfathers FUNERAL. I’m in the procession sounding like I’m blasting bass filled music! I tried to call them to be like what on earth and they never answered. When I returned the vehicle and reported the noise to them they were like “oh yeah we know about that, this type of car is probably going to get recalled because they all make that noise.” Seems like something one would mention BEFORE. Also took like 45 minutes to get the car because they had one person at the desk and the people in front of us didn’t have a shred of the details they needed so there was just a line forming behind them. Also the car was overdue for an oil change by THREE THOUSAND miles and the car kept sending an alert about how the oil life was at 0%. When I told them this when dropping off the car they were just like “oh yeah we know”

They said pickup was at the airport. It is not. You have to walk 1/3 mile with your luggage to take a shuttle to their place which is 15 minutes away. I waited thirty minutes for the shuttle and finally gave up and rented from another company.

Location of vehicle was a bit far from airport but shuttle service was very good!

Terrible! Upon arriving in Denver we shuttled to ace and there was at least a hour wait in line. While standing in line we noticed a sign that no cars were allowed out of the state. So we had to shuttle back to the airport and book another car rental with someone else which obviously took a lot of valuable time. Bottom line we didn’t rent from ace and never will again.

The wait for the shuttle to pick up the car took ~30 min 15 min would have made this part of the review Excellent

Scam. Arrived 'too late' to collect my car – despite having paid in full for the reservation in advance – so my car had been 'given away' and (shock!) the only available car was a luxury BMW, meaning I had to pay a further £250 or be stuck without a car. Shameful practice.

Absolutely faultless, staff for pick up & drop off were very professional and friendly, car was spotless and very comfortable.

Staff was not friendly, lied to us and scammed us. Told us our reservation was cancelled due to not picking up the car in time, even though they were the ones who closed their office early and then never refunded the money.

Very happy with the experience. I was meant to return the car at the end of the day on Friday but had some unexpected delays. When I called to inform them they just said it was fine to bring it back first thing on Saturday “not a problem”. Based on this recent experience in Bristol, I would definitely use them again and recommend them.
