Jaguar car hires in Chicago

Got a surprise charge for about 70% more than pre paid quoted price. Also the car was a lot smaller than class reserved. Won’t be renting from them again

Called to see if I could extend 12 hours they told me it would be more then I paid for 3 days.

The over all experience was great but the rental car cost me 500 dollars for a 2 day rent for a mid size car.

BAD! the booked car (convertible) is not available in Chicago, while I could book it few months before! If I know that before, I have chosen another rental company

It was a good experience until I arrived at the drop off location and a clear scam by Budget was in the works. I arrived at 3255 W FULLERTON AVE, CHICAGO 60647 to return the car around 12:00-12:30 on the 19th July 2023. I was met by an extremely rude person who miraculously spotted in a nanosecond a tiny barely visible crack which can only be spotted under extreme scrutiny. He proceeded to write a damage report and started harrying me to sign some papers without offering any proper explanations with the added difficulty of him using nonsensical English. He was being extremely difficult to deal with and was brushing off any attempts by me at conversing with him when I showed him my disbelief at the claim he was forcing on me. The car was not damaged while under my possession and I have 6 people including myself who are witnesses and can attest to that. I immediately sensed a scam in the works when the person receiving the car was telling me I'm not the person who gave you the car at the pickup location, and asked whether I signed any papers detailing any damages to the car at the pickup location which I was not asked to do in the first place. I was instructed to pick up the car from the parking lot at location V20 at the rental parking lot in O'hare airport, present my license and rental agreement to the gate personnel who let me pass without any additional papers signed or presented to me. The keys were in the car and when I asked the Budget people in the parking garage whether I needed to verify any issues with anyone they told me to proceed to the gate and there was no need to see anyone. The behavior and narrative that the guy at the drop-off location was demonstrating proves that this is a well rehearsed scam whereby the rental company will try to levy any previous damages in the car and blame it and claim it from unsuspecting renters like myself who returned the car in the same exact condition that I received it in. I refuse to be bullied and will make this case public through all access I have on social media through my family, friends and businesses. I will ensure that this behavior by Budget (and all other companies that operate under the same umbrella) will receive as much negative publicity as it should, as I will do my duty to warn other unsuspecting would-be-renters of the devious ways among many that this company exercises in scamming people. I'm utterly disgusted by the behavior of their employee which only reflects the values or lack thereof which this company supposedly espouses.

There was 1 person working and a line snaked around. Inexcusable

The price was fantastic, and the car was in good shape. But the service was horrible. The lady at the desk refused to help us until our rental time. Then they kept us waiting even though there was no one else picking up a car. When we were ready to pick up the car, The people in the garage hardly gave us the time of day, and the lady at the desk yelled at us for going to the garage before our name was called, even though our car was ready. No one filled out the damage form before we left, and it just seemed like the dollar employees in Chicago were as unhappy as possible to have the jobs that they did.

Our pickup experience was horrendous, I have never seen something so unprofessional. First & last time I’ll be using Dollar.

Convenient way of booking. Lot of options. But equal amount is charged after booking by service provider. Not received final invoice or settlement.

The lady at the counter at Chicago Ohare pickup fought me for 45 minutes and did not want to honor what we booked (in this case a 7 seater SUV). It wasn’t so much the make and model as these aren’t guaranteed but more so that we needed 7 seats which was guaranteed per our reservation. She told me multiple times they didn’t have any 7 seater vehicles. Finally, after 45 minutes, I got the car type that we reserved. She was rude and unpleasant. Would not recommend renting from Alamo in Chicago!

It was a good experience, good customer service and easy process. Only down side was that the car was not clean around the dashboard and gear control area and I had to use wipes to clean it.

Alamo charge me an absurd amount of money to change the return airport from O’Hare airport to nearby midway airport. Beware.

Guys working at the enterprise were great to deal with.

Pleasant, helpful, and attentive. I will rent with them again.

Great customer service

I had some trepidation because the last rental with QEEQ was not available at the selected location and I had to spend hours going out to the airport to pick up the care but the price was good enough that I decided to try again and had a great experience and received a very nice BMW to drive.

Positive points: practical place to pickup the car; good prices; friendly team!! Negative points: information on the website about insurance wasn’t so clear. What were the coverages and their different prices.

Great check in/check out experience, however the daily toll pass rental fee was not economical.

Car needed multiple repairs, was no safe driving at highway speeds.

I was charged for an upgrade without being asked if I wanted an upgrade. I was charged for a full tank of petrol when I said I didn’t want that option(this was later refunded). The check-in agent was 100% on the hustle - unexpected from a ‘reputable’ company and after a long flight.

Avis staff was helpful and very friendly.

Ummm They did not rip me off on full tank Fuel this time … like they did in Boston

Customer service was terrible! Had attitude problems! Didn’t even get the rental car! I deserve a refund!

Great car. Too May extra extra charges just for extending the rental for a few days.
