Toyota car hires in Seville

They cancelled my reservation at last minute notice. Very upsetting.

They refused to provide the car I rented and stole my money.

I have a MAJOR COMPLAINT. I booked a car through Kayak. I was given an INCORRECT PICKUP ADDRESS on both the website AND in a confirmation email. The incorrect address I was given was: St Peters Street Maidstone, ENG, United Kingdom ME16 0SN This is conveniently located near a train station, and that is a major reason I booked. But there is NO EUROPCAR at that address! Instead, upon turning up, and calling Europcar for help, I found out that the real address is: Units 4, 8 Union Park, Maidstone ME15 9XT This is MILES AWAY, and it required a half-hour taxi ride for me to get there. --- Now, there was a separate issue, that I accidentally made my booking for the wrong date! I intended Tue 12 Nov, but accidentally booked Tue 19 Nov. I did not notice this mistake until after I had made the inconvenient, expensive journey from the incorrect address I was given to the correct address. Europcar there were able to help me with a new booking, and I cancelled the old. Notwithstanding the above, I would like to know how you will remedy the problem of the incorrect address shown on Kayak and in confirmation emails, and compensate me for inconvenience that caused.

I paid for my car rental in advance, when I arrived I was told I needed to pay an additional €238. Wish I had gone with enterprise who were only £10 more expensive than the original price and had no hidden costs!!! Car was also damaged all over and had clearly had water damage on all the seats that had no been cleaned. In the extra they made me pay they said it included their flexi drop off which meant I didn’t need to fill the tank up. I returned the car with over 3/4 of a tank left and have been charged and additional €20 as a fine for this!! Absolute joke, will never use gold car again!!

Very easy pickup and drop-off. Shuttle bus service was great even if directions weren't especially clear. At the time of booking I selected the luxury SUV, Kia Sportage or equivalent. I got an MGZS which is significantly smaller, lacking in any kind of luxuries, I couldn't connect my phone and it had no sat nav. The car seriously struggled up hills and I had to drive up a lot of them. I don't expect to get the exact make and model of car they use to demonstrate the class of vehicle but I don't expect quite such a downgrade and would not have booked through them if I had known

The agency not in the airport, we had to wait for a shuttle like more than 20min. Then we they would not allow my driver to pick up the car. The lady at customer service is snubby. I wasted 180Euro for nothing. Not recommended.

When I picked up the car, I was told that office will be open until 11pm for drop off. When I dropped off my car around 10.45pm, I was told that no extra charges will be added since car is undamaged and fuel tank is full. But later when I reviewed the invoice and my credit card, I was charged extra €40 without my consent and knowledge for “After hours drop off fee”. I clearly didn’t do any after hour drop off so felt like a scam pulled by this company!

The rent did not happen. The pick up location was wrong ( not my mistake)

Recordgo is much better enterprise didn’t even let us rent the car and I’m assuming it’s because of our appearance.

A Disingenuous company who didn't mark up all the damage to the tired car they gave us, refused to update the damage report, refused to look at the car on return and then charged us 450 euros for damage we didn't do. We used them because they were cheap. If you use them make sure you check the car and get their agreement prior to driving away, but if I were you I would use a more reputable company. we will never use them again.

Long que waited over 45 mins for pick up. Vehicle had so much damage - and not cleaned.

Pick up process is incredibly complicated. They make you wait in queue to go up to the counter where they confirm your information only to be told to go fill in your document information at a kiosk. You then have to wait again to back to the same counter once you’ve filled all the information in. I did not like how this agency takes a fuel deposit, this was not mentioned anywhere prior to hiring the car.

Quick pickup and nice clean car, location was a bit far out of the city. Drop off in Granada was not at indicated location of office and had to drop at nearby carpark. Instructions were clear though.

Hertz Barcelona airport where we dropped off was, unfortunately, the worst rental drop-off experience we've ever had. We had a tire puncture and it destroyed a day of our rental trying to get someone in English to respond and fix it. We were told to bring it to the airport to exchange it because the technician said the tire couldn't be guaranteed not to leak and would be unsafe. We drove it right back and the attendant told us we needed to go into the airport to talk about an exchange. In the meantime, they charged 200 euros for the tire plus ADMIN CHARGE plus LOSS OF USE fee (not a fair price, but understandable as we had declined insurance) and then CHARGED 200 EUROS MORE for a "cleaning fee" because we had a couple of empty bottles and some crumbs in the car which NO ONE TOLD ME TO CLEAN (especially as, at the time, we thought we might be returning to that same car. It was very upsetting and no one at the desk cared. We had to pitch a fit to talk to the manager, who let us return to the car to clean it (a 2 minute operation of throwing empty bottle into the trash and shaking out the floor mats. I told the attendant in no uncertain terms that the courteous thing would have been to say "unless you take these bottles, etc. out, I will have to charge you." SO dishonest--I felt like they simply thought they could take advantage of an American whose Spanish isn't great. It ruined a lot of the day sitting in the airport office waiting for them to properly handle. In the end, I told them simply to refund me rather than getting me a new car because I preferred metro to seeing how they would take advantage of me the next time I returned a replacement car. I'm still waiting for the refund on the used portion of the rental. The Barcelona Hertz office gives the company (which I have otherwise found to be the TOP-rated rental in the US for service) a bad name!

The pick-up process was very good. The vehicle as excellent, but could have been a little cleaner (especially outside).
