How much luggage can you carry on Air Iceland?
When you book Air Iceland tickets, you will need to make sure you adhere to the luggage allowance of the airline. The weight allowance for your bags will vary depending on which class of service you are travelling in. For instance, Economy Light allows one item of hand luggage weighing 10kg, whilst Saga Premium Flex allows two check-in bags that weigh 32kg each and two hand luggage bags that weigh 10kg each. If you’re travelling with a child, you can take one pushchair with you free of charge on Air Iceland flights. You can also take your bike onboard the flight with you, provided that you have reserved this in advance and packed the bike in a suitable bike bag or box.
Can I fly with a pet on Air Iceland?
Air Iceland only accepts pets that are travelling in IATA-approved crates. These have a maximum dimension of 91.44 x 63.5 x 71.12 cm. The pet and carrier combined need to have a weight of more than 40kg. Pets are not allowed in the cabin under any circumstances, unless it is a service animal. If this isn’t suitable for your pet, then you can also look to transport it via an affiliate pet shipping programme. When you are making your Air Iceland reservation, you should inform the airline that you are bringing a pet, to ensure there is no misunderstanding on the day that you travel.
