Book flights with Lufthansa

The 'Miles and More' reward programme from Lufthansa offers a variety of perks to regular flyers. With this frequent flyer programme, you may get special perks at the airport and on the plane and links with hotels, car rental companies, and other businesses, when you book Lufthansa reservations. At the airport, you may enjoy priority check-in and certain lounge access. On the plane, you’ll have additional baggage allowances. When you book your flight, you have extra services for additional miles on each purchase, a waitlist priority, and a guaranteed seat on planes leaving in the next 24 hours with some memberships. There are three sorts of memberships available, each with its privileges: Frequent Traveller, Senator, and HON Circle. During your travels, you will accumulate miles, and with these, you can use the miles as credit for future ticket purchases and shopping in the Lufthansa WorldShop. This extends to cosmetics, fashion, luggage, and more.

Passengers on Lufthansa flights are allowed two types of baggage: checked and in the cabin. Under Lufthansa’s free baggage rules, your baggage allowance differs according to your specific route, fare, and travel class. Economy Class are permitted one checked bag, which must not exceed a total dimension of 157.48 cm by height, width, and depth, and weigh up to 23kg. Economy carry-on luggage is one piece with dimensions of 55.88 x 40.64 x 22.86 cm and a weight of 8kg, and one personal item of 40.64 x 30.48 x 10.16 cm. Business Class ticket holders may bring two checked bags of the same dimensions but weighing 8kg each and two carry-on bags with the same dimensions and weight along with one personal item. The cost of excess luggage varies depending on where you fly from. If you choose, you can reserve more luggage ahead of time. There are additional services for sports equipment that depend on the weight and size of the object.

On Lufthansa flights, pets can either travel with you in the cabin or the hold. If your dog is a fighting breed older than six months, it must travel in the hold. Certain snub-nosed cats and dogs have restricted airways resulting in breathing problems, and are not permitted to travel on an aeroplane as they may incur serious health problems or death. When travelling with your pet, they must be transported in a suitable enclosure.
