Cons:Overall ok. Boarding went smoothly. Seat was cramped and there was a metal bar in front of my legs. The food was poor. I got some odd savory rice dish with raisins and two cubes of cheese. Make sure to bring snacks as it is a long flight. Most of the crew was hospitable but one stewardess was awfully crabby...
Cons:for 860$ include only one small cheeseburger and water
Pros:Not much to like. Two days before my flight I went on UIA website to choose my seat. There were many seats to choose from, ranging in price from $10 up to $50. I choose seat 26B, a $50 seat, it was near an emergency exit and has plenty of leg room. I get to JFK and received my boarding pass and didn’t notice the seat was 31A. I board the plane, and see someone is in my seat, look at my ticket and see the seat number isn’t as I requested and paid for. So I take my seat in 31A and wait patiently for the stewardess.
Cons:I didn’t like how the situation was handled. I had paid for seat 26B, and someone else was in my seat. The stewardess says there’s nothing she can do, the flight is full. I told her that I was fine sitting where I was, but I would like to be refunded for the seat that I reserved. Unfortunately for both of us, there was little that either of us could do to rectify the situation. I would have been satisfied with an explanation of whom I need to contact to ask for my refund, or have the situation brought to a managers attention that could help me. Overall it was poor customer service.
Cons:Very long check-in line which went very slow because they charge for printing boarding passes and many people did not have theirs printed, leading to confusion. The fact that they charge for this is pretty ridiculous and scammy--I'm pretty sure they do it just to pull money from people who don't know any better. This information should be more readily available.
Cons:I’ve waited for 2 hours into the flight to get a cup of water . And an hour more to buy a bottle of water. Staff was not nice .
