Pros:Staff was helpful drop off was easy.
Cons:Insurance is not included in the Kayak quote, and is required for Mexico. This add $200 to a $260 rental. Also the cars were not the same as what was listed on Kayak.
pick up was a bummer
Drop off was a breeze. Location and shuttle was great too. It would be so helpful if the company would just inform people of the extra charges ahead of time so they don’t have so many angry people at pick up feeing like they are getting lied to. There’s mandatory collision and liability insurance that are additional daily fees and you can only get them through their company. There’s daily extra driver fees, roadside, and they didn’t even give us a car that was comparable to the one we thought we were getting. Explaining all this ahead of time so there aren’t any surprises upon arrival would be so much better for customers. The “total” upon reserving online is never the case. It’s really another $500 on top of that. Just say so instead having hidden fees.
They upgraded my reservation to a bigger car without any extra cost.
They did not have a car reserved for us. But they asked how many day rental it would be, and When we said it would be for one day rental they said no.
