The car was an excellant choice for the New Zealand roads, nimble and quick when needed. the staff of the agency was very helpful and informative. Over all an excellant experience.
Pick up was quick and easy as was the drop off. Friendly and helpful staff. Our only wish is that the inside of the vehicle would have been cleaned better. It was vacuumed and litter free but the leather seats and interior windows needed cleaning/wipe down.

I had rented a car months in advance. My flight was delayed by a few days so I attempted to contact Hertz. Since I was delayed I asked if my car could be held for a few days (remember it's already paid for). They said they were unable to help me and I'd have to rebook it costing me a thousand dollars more. It turned into a headache and to be frank their outsourcing of customer service was dreadful.

Better signage at the Auckland airport regarding the location of the rental car return would be very beneficial for people unfamiliar with the airport. Once in the return area an attendant to help find a parking spot that was a Hertz designated or at least better signage would also be beneficial to people unfamiliar with the process. These things may not be in your control but my perspective would improve the experience for me.

On the afternoon of February 23rd, the attitude of the woman who responded when picking up a car at New Zealand Auckland Airport was the worst. I can’t feel motivated to work without being amiable.
Very easy process all around. No hassle at all, comfortable and very clean car. Operation instructions for the car (EV) would have been helpful.
