Pros:Drop of was easy and the car was clean and in good working order
Cons:The staff was rude and very abrupt. We waited for the shuttle from the airport to the car rental for almost 40 minutes. When we got to the car rental place I was told that there's a mandatory additional fee for insurance which was not mentioned on their website when I booked nor in any of the documents. This fee was not nominal either, it was almost as much as the car rental itself. When I told him that I have additional insurance from American Express platinum they didn't even want to look at it, the only thing they wanted is to charge me this exorbitant fee for something I didn't need. They need I had no option but to this fee since that car reservation was paid upfront and not refundable.
I would avoid. Nice people but terribly disorganized. We paid for an SUV but when we arrived they said they didn't have any. Didn't really offer a solution (said we could just wait a few hours for an SUV but they are unsure if one will come) so we took a sedan. This car then broke down on us (but thankfully they were quick to fix it). They also ended up making us pay for insurance as they didn't accept my credit card's insurance.
Wouldn’t accept my credit card insurance coverage without a written letter—which is not a legal requirement but something they do so they can sell you their insurance. It was labeled as “on site” at airport. It was not. The car was pretty beat to hell.
It was not just poor, it was terrible. They had no cars, they asked me to pay more than $700 for a car, rather than the $203 quoted - that's an unbelievable amount for the expected extras. A dirty car was returned while we did the paperwork which they said we could have. Then they took it away and said it had brake problems. We waited into the night as they said another car was on the way. They couldn't tell us when it would arrive. After a couple of hours we told them to cancel and walked to a local hotel. We got a shuttle to our destination the next morning. AVOID, AVOID!
Beware! Lots of hidden fees and high deposits. Our rental was ok but had a lot of minor damage. The rear brake light sensor was on, the radio screen was broke and there were lots of scratches and dents on the outside of the car. The brakes were very squeaky. The power windows in the back didn’t always go up immediately. We really had to struggle with the back left window. I’m grateful we were able to get a rental during the holiday season but we overall felt taken advantage of by this company. I hope they are more transparent with their prices.
