The people were awesome and the car did a great job. The only problem was how the rental returns were parked in front of the available cars so I wasn’t able to get my rental as quickly as I paid for. It cut into at least an hour of my time.

We arrived at GSO exhausted, after a very rough day of travel mishaps. The gent at the counter was super fast, courteous and kind. He even gave us an upgrade without us having to ask. Incredible experience!

I needed the rental due to a family member's funeral in Maryland so it was last minute it was suggested that i make the reservation ASAP but the funeral was delayed a day so when I needed to modify the reservation at the time of pick up the up-charge for the additional day was significant close to $25.00 over the daily rate for the other days and they were going to charge me double for all the airport taxes for the additional day. After some serious discussion I was able to get the taxes reduced to the same rate each day for the entire trip but that took a significant amount of time and I could have been on my way much sooner. Customer service could have been better!
When I got to the rental counter, I was told that there were no cars available. When I said that I had a reservation, it didn't matter because they had no cars available. What could have been better is if I knew there would be no cars available at the time I made the reservation.

Dollar rental has a policy where they do a credit check just for a rental, I’ve rented plenty of vehicles before from rental places and was never asked to do a credit check. This policy needs to be updated on third-party sites as well to inform customers in the future.

The Dollar scanner wasn’t working properly and didn’t recognize my NYS drivers license and they weren’t able to issue me a car…though I had just travelled from LGA where they had successfully scanned it. There was no back-up plan. The people were fine but couldn’t accommodate me so we had someone else in our party be the driver. A very upsetting and sub-par experience. I won’t rent from Dollar again.

They told me their system was down when I returned the car on time in Atlanta. A few days later I received a text and a letter saying that I had not turned in the car. I did exactly as the agent described in Atlanta. I had to spend a lot of time on the phone to make them aware of and correct their mistake.

Please refer to Hertz Customer Care Case # 19206313 I have filed a complaint about the location and it was not resolved to my satisfaction. I will never rent from Hertz again

They told me it was an all wheel drive vehicle. I rented that because we were going to the mountains and there would be snow. When I got stuck in the snow, I realized it was actually a two wheel drive vehicle. I tried to call the Greensboro office but got sent to a national phone tree and couldn’t reach a live person. It sucked.

it was deja vu all over again. The last time I rented from Hertz I upgraded from a midsize altima to a full size car. Hertz gave me an Altima and said it was a full size. This time I rented a full size suv ie armada,Pathfinder;Explorer. They provided me with a ..Kia Sorrenta which is classified as a mid size suv. Once again Hertz said it was afull size suv I will never rent from Hertz again because they have their own classification system that allows them to downsize you from what you expected and paid for.
