And overall good experience except this car smelled like cigarettes. I thought that you were not supposed to smoke in these cars????
They don’t give me a car because they charged me extra more than I had money on credit card. They also told me , after declared transaction that can’t use my credit card again. Me , and my pregnant wife came back to the home by metro train. Everything was terrible , we are really sad. And we can’t return money yet, I don’t know why…
Very smooth
The representatives I met w/in person were above & beyond. They know their job, & were absolutely wonderful to interact with. My one complaint was my vain attempts to get thru to a living individual via phone when I had a question that I could not find an answer to on the website. That will give me pause in future, knowing this. Incredibly frustrating.
I prepaid for my rental. About a month prior to my rental date I had to cancel my rental. Hertz charged me $100 for the cancelation. I could understand that fee if I canceled less than a week before my rental date but my cancelation was way before that. Given the current dearth of rental car availability they should have no trouble re-renting the car. I could even understand a $25 cancelation fee but $100 is just a rip off. I will never rent from Hertz again because of it.
