Staff there was extremely rude. They didn’t have any cars available at all and barely accommodated us. We were told to just “call corporate” no point in booking a reservation if the car isn’t there when you arrive to pick it up.

Flight delayed my pickup by 2 hours. At 2 pm the office was closed and no one answered the phone number on the door. I never did get a car - had to Uber the whole weekend. Still awaiting a refund.

Hertz modified my reservation dates without informing me. Essentially I would have to return the car by Sat noon (Fri 6pm pickup) instead of Monday 6pm, so the entire trip (4h5 drive each way to VT) became pointless and I had to cancel. Worse, because of Memorial Day Weekend all other rental cars were sold out and I wasn't able to travel at all, and lost my downpayment of $272 for lodging.
