All in all everything was fine. Personal we’re fine, good service. Only “problem” I would report is the poor condition of windshield wipers. Unfortunately during our rental, hurricane Ian blew through and hit us with 3 days of constant rain. Wipers were horrible. I almost stopped at Autozone for new blades they were so bad. Did not make driving fun, especially at night. Perhaps Avis should pay a littler closer attention to these small maintenance issues.

Got charged $0.20/miles I thought it was flat rate for unlimited miles when picked up my car estimated was around $150 and when dropping off got charged 277 that’s unacceptable

The representatives were friendly helpful and hard working. The customer service person in India was hard to understand on the phone and gave wrong directions. Our vehicle was very nice. Seems like they don’t have the cars available for you as customers arrive to pick up. That does not seem right.

Had to sit here for 41/2 hours as they ran my card three times for the same purchase and would not give me a car. Finally gave me up he car and had to switch it out twice; both had bad tires. Horrible experience! Took me 10 day to get the 3000.00 back on my card.
The Hertz rental on State Rd in Princeton NY does not even have a sign that says Hertz out front, and it's an auto body business basically ! The man at the desk was taciturn and grumpy. He does not feel good about his job or dealing with the general public. I didn't like that the tank wasn't full. He told me that at drop off at the airport I'd need to fill it back up the 5/8 of a tank, where it started. Never rented a car that didn't start with a full tank. Also the woman checking the Hertz car returns at the lot at Newark airport was horrible. "Hurry get your stuff together and go. I need to get out of here, line NOW" She said that to me twice. Ridiculous customer service. Will think twice about going with Hertz again
