The car was booked and fully paid for, however, on my arrival in the US, the car was already given to someone else. I would not use Hertz again and will definitely not recommend them to anyone.. The refund has also not been processed despite several reminders and promises. Such a poor show by Hertz, unbelievable..

The Hertz location insisted that we had booked an electric vehicle, even though our confirmation through Kayak showed we had booked an intermediate-class SUV, and did not provide any alternative options. The EV lacked the range necessary for our vacation plans, so we had to change them mid-trip, at significant expense. Hertz has continued to claim that their record of our reservation was correct and refuses to refund any of our rental fee, even though it was their system that somehow changed our reservation. Will not ever rent from Hertz again.

you booked me in bellevue at 5pm. my flight was scheduled to arrive at 5pm. bellevue is 30 minutes away driving. Hertz is a franchise and they were going to charge me $300 per day for a car at the airport. You created a huge inconvenience. I will not use your service again.

Pickup took an hour. Staff was helpful and knowledgable but there were too many rentals to process for such a small office (and there were technical glitches as well).

Poor customer service. I had a problem with my reservation and I received no assistance. My deposit was not refunded and I have lost over $200. I will not be using Kayak or Hertz ever again and I will tell all my family and friends not to either.

The car option I selected was not available and nothing similar (6-7 seater) was available. Not sure if this was a kayak issue or enterprise issue, but it was a problem.

Kayak booked me with the wrong Enterprise store. I came in to the airport and I was booked across town. They did give me a car, but it wasn't what I wanted. Other than that, it went well. Also my rental was more expensive than booked.

Car was very clean. This means a lot.

was late to estimated pickup time by 1 hr. Switched me to a garbage car that handled poorly at highway speeds. Gas tank was left 1/2 full so had to snake an extra stop along the way, and it didn’t indicate how many approx gallons getting it back to 1/2 full would take so I gifted Enterpise $10-15 of gas on top of the exorbitant rental fee for the value.
