Traveler note - Important to know: Thrifty pickups are in the parking lot of the airport, they are not in the terminal itself. You can learn this by asking around (as we did) and it's not a long walk, but it would have been helpful if Thrifty let us know in advance simply from a comfort perspective. The woman who helped us with the rental pickup couldn't have been nicer. The car was good -- be uber-cautious about driving: the pot holes in St Lucia will do more than just rattle your teeth if you hit one straight on.
Worse than terrible. We booked with budget 9 months before the holiday. We arrived at the budget desk and were told they didn’t have a car for us. This left us at the mercy of competitors who knew we were stuck so ended up paying way more than we had budgeted for.
Staff very friendly. Made process of pick up and drop off very seamless. Had Chevy trail blazer. Very nice suv, and comfortable drive.

Sixt was completely out of cars when we arrived at pick up. No warning or communication of any kind was given that they could not honor our reservation. We Had to rebook elsewhere

Easy in and out, everything as Advertised, great rate and very friendly staff!
There were no vehicles available with hertz, they forwarded us onto some one local who only had a seven seater car not a van as requested they honoured the price we had been quoted , apparently the van that I had requested is not available on the island

Car was dinged up . Lots of miles on it . Horn didn’t work, brakes were iffy.Would not accept pre arranged insurance. Ended up having to pay exorbitant fee. Extrapolates out to $6200. Per year. Wanting to hurry to check in airlines. Drop off person was 15 minutes late. Last car we rented in Watsonville, ca was going to charge us $ 400 unless we vacuumed out the car. I can assure you we do not leave a car dirty. Bottom line - no more Hertz.

Pick up was mostly simple. Staff was professional, courteous, timely, and knowledgeable. St. Lucia is a small island. Their technology isn't up to speed, but it was still simple and easy. Nadine was excellent! I asked for a van, didn't get it, but later found that a van on that island wouldn't have worked. Nadine's savvy knoweledge was able to identify this.
