Pick up and check-in was very smooth and efficient. Lot only 3 min from the airport. Staff was friendly and vehicle met my expectations. Only concern was that I purchased insurance at the time of booking at $11/day and they said that was third party insurance and that I should buy directly from them at $11.95/day so I did just to be safe. Felt a bit taken advantage of.

The service was FANTASTIC, the staff was MORE than pleasant and nice, the back door was left open and battery died and they came IMMEDIATLEY and jumped started our vehicle and showed us to make sure it didnt happen again. i CANNOT say enough about the customer service and friendly staff at this location. Will be renting from them again PRONTO!!!!

The car given to me were the worse cars on the lot. First car had a broken air condition and the replacement car had a broken radio that displayed only in Chinese. It absolutely sucked driving in silence all week.

Very slow pick up and drop off process and I mean very slow.
What a cluster this was….car was a lemon, service was worse. They lied about gas gage despite my having pictures and video at pickup, then threatened me when I called them out on it. Check engine, tire warnings and past due oil change lights flashing at pickup , which took 90 minutes.

I reserved a Toyota Camry for $150/day which is crazy. The Camry I was given was a 2013, definitely not what I was expecting. The check in process is slow and very manual. Make sure you you take pictures/videos of the entire interior and exterior of the car. This office will closely inspect the vehicle upon return and charge you for any little scratch. The check out process is also very slow. The staff is nice.

You don’t have a choice of right or left hand drive so be prepared! The staff was willing to try to accommodate our needs but changing cars would have doubled the price.

When we arrived we were told they did not have a car like what we reserved and that the car we could use was a “help” to us instead of us being stranded. They would swap cars once “and if” the car we reserved came back but they had no way of being sure when or if it would be returned. When I asked if we could just keep the car they had I was told it was an upgrade and would cost me an additional $200. I said we would take the loaner and wait to get the car we reserved. The loaner was a very old and worn out Toyota Corolla it turned out, hardly an upgrade with rusted parts and an emergency signal that stayed on the whole time. Needless to say they never called or swapped cars.
Kayak directed us to a pick up location that no longer exists in Providenciales so Avis was scrambling to find us a car at another location. They came through tho! Kayak search location needs to be updated.

Easy shuttle from airport to the car pickup. Quick in and out, easy drop off. We’ve rented from them for years in providenciales and always a good experience.

The Avis site states the cars are on premise at the airport, but that is not true. You have to wait for a shuttle to pick you up and take you to an off-site location. Additionally, they have more limited hours relative to other car services, and our flight was delayed. We got lucky that someone else had called to notify them that their flight was delayed otherwise Avis would have been closed when we arrived and we wouldn't have been able to get a car. The restriction in hours/availability should have been communicated to us. Finally, the car we got ran fine, but it looked like it had been in a couple of accidents. They had other cars on the lot and should have given us a car that operated fine, but also looked appropriate. I would never use Avis again when on island at Turks.
I had requested a minivan. The rental place didn’t even have minivans. I wanna make it clear that it’s not that they were all rented out, I mean that they did NOT own any minivans. They, and Kayak, lied to me about the vehicle I was going to get. Imagine my surprise when I get there, with a family of 5 and a ton of luggage, and they only have a tiny SUV. Oh, and by the way, the seatbelts did not lock, so my toddler’s car seat was never properly secured

Booked mid size Kayak rental, local Payless branch said it came through as economy and they have nothing to do with Kayak or even the corporate Payless/Avis branch. They declared the Kayak pricing was irrelevant. I ended up paying 30% more for an economy car through that local branch because I couldn’t get to another rental company without walking a mile with my luggage. Felt like a scam by everyone… Kayak, Avis/Payless, and the local car rental company acting on Payless’ behalf.

So we got “upgraded” to the worse looking car on the lot. It had a bullet hole in it, the headlights were so “fogged” wasn’t sure would be able to see at night. Rear panel on the passenger’s side was basically “glued” together from previous damage, scratches all over, inside the upholstery was stained and dirty, the key fob didn’t work, basically this was a POS car. In addition I had to write my credit card number down on a piece of paper for them, now I’m checking everyday to see if unknown charges appear.

No shocks both cars # 1 then # 2 #1 had faulty battery died and e-died They did respond Quickly Blew a Tire Due to rim weakness They came to help quickly. #2 had screaming fan belt first few Minutes driving Differential was going, grinding +++
We waited over an hour and the vehicle never arrived. Now I'm having to fight the charges.

Car was older and A/C did not work well. If the A/C would have worked it would have been better. We rented a minivan because we had a large group. Also they did not have drop off at the airport only pick up.
