Car was ok, Malibu instead of a Corolla. Pick up was not good. Entire process was too long, then it took forever to get out of the rental car garage at Sea-Tac airport. From arriving at the rental car terminal until leaving with the car was an hour and a half process. Unacceptable. I reserved the car, Alamo had all the information it needed prior to my arrival. My time is valuable.

We had a great experience however when returning the car I wish the check in attendant ask me for the key fob - had to rerun it after airport security. Just a stressful! And of course I am to blame to!
I was told by Payless that they didn’t have any cars for me and that they were sold out. I have tried to communicate to kayak , Payless and Rentalcars.com i have yet to get any luck my reservation was never cancelled because no one wants to help and now my money isn’t refunded because no one wants to help. This is the worst experience i have felt with my whole life. It takes you .1 second to take the money and it’s now almost 2 weeks and I’m still fighting.

I like the the pick up and the drop off it was quite smooth. I did not like your vehicle cleanliness. It smelled bad as if someone slept in it. It also had bad windshield wipers which I found to be dangerous in the heavy rain hard to see through.

I liked the price and service. Car had couple of exterior marks. I took pictures prior to driving off thr lot. I wish there was a better system in place to acknowledge the car condition. Overall no worries.
I was charged with an extra surprise insurance fee that I was not made aware of from the beginning. Counter said it was not possible to decline such insurance.

I had upgraded online before my pickup and when I got to the desk the attendant discussed a hybrid upgrade with me as it is less gas, 4 wheel drive vs awd. I agreed to the upgrade. I was 10 miles away when I noticed there was no charge on the car. I called and was told I could go to a charging station and charge it. When getting to a charging station that I would have to pay extra for, found no connection that works at that charging station. This vehicle was premium only fuel and cost me significantly more money then if I stayed with my original upgrade. I contacted Sixt and they did nothing. I have rented other hybrid cars and never have had to charge it on my own. They came fully charged

The problem resulted from not being able to change my reservation. Sixt won't charge it because it's booked with kayak, and when you try to change it with kayak your stupid system send you to sixt that won't allow you to change the reservation. So 2hrs on the phone with sixt

The staff at SEA were kind and helpful, pickup was easy. I had to call customer service mid trip to extend my rental. Spoke with a few different people who were all helpful, and in the end I was able to get the extra days I needed. Drop off was simple for my early flight. The vehicle was a newer model in good condition. I had no issues with the vehicle and felt comfortable the entire trip.
Arrived at the rental car depot for SEATAC and joined nearly 200 people in line for Budget. The estimated wait to see an agent and pick up my reserved car (although I very much doubted there were enough cars for everyone in line) was over 2 hours. I had to cancel the rental agreement and accept higher prices from Alamo on the spot in order to maintain my itinerary. Terrible experience, and not the first bad one with Budget. Won't be selecting them again.

The man that I picked up the car from made multiple mistakes and then took a break in the middle of me paying the final payment for the car. He was nice enough initially, but then he literally left for at least twenty minutes without any real notice and I then saw him just chilling as he took his "break." When he finally returned and gave me the keys, he didn't tell me where to go and gave me no instructions as to what to do. The people at the actual car pick-up in the garage were really nice, but just as confused as me because this man had repeatedly messed up and sent me the wrong information in my digital ticket. Overall, because of this man's errors and the break he took, I didn't leave Budget rentals until at least 90 minutes when I first arrived there.

Understaffed counter at rental center resulting in long lines. I waited in line for 52 minutes thus missing other commitments. I ended up renting from another agency as I could no longer wait without substantially impacting travel plans.

Picking up was a long and tenuous process. Huge lineup and only 3 agents working, easily the slowest of all rental companies in the building. The agent was clearly frustrated and tired and was not friendly at all. When we arrived at the car the exterior was dirty and there there was a rock chip in the window that was not noted, trying to find someone to report it to was not easy either. When we dropped the vehicle off at the LAX the few people we tried to ask questions of were rude and lacked answers. Finally found our own way. I chose Budget not for the price but because I had had good experience in the past, next time I will go with someone else.

Specifically paid to rent a full size suv and the counter lady would only give me an electric smart car. As we walked past numerous SUVs parked next to the smart car we had to plead with the attendant in the garage who stated they had plenty of SUVs to get us what we had already reserved
When I turned my vehicle back in on the date/time scheduled, it was not registered correctly and I received a text three days later saying my rental car had not been turned in. It is now four days after my rental drop-off and I have yet to receive a receipt from Budget/Avis. The online receipt request form does not recognize my confirmation number. So frustrating.

Rates were too high for a one day rental- the return was a pain and the Avis app did not help. I had to call and basically had to figure out on my own where the return location was located. Then was asked- did you take a picture of mileage and fuel tank level.

I wait 30 minutes in line to get to the Avis counter to pick up my rental; that I had booked online and performed my pre-pickup registration to allegedly make the process easier. Then it is 10 minutes at the counter. My card is in the machine and the worker is down the way calling the garage for my car. Then she returns (after another 5 minutes) with the manager to tell me there are no cars for my destsination, and that allegedly, there haven't been any for 24 hours. And that the online system should not have allowed me to make a reservation. Maybe true, maybe not. Because while I was waiting on the salesperson to call the garage the salesperson to my left is selling a rental (one-way to the same location that I'm headed) but at 1.5x the price that I booked online. So, you tell me. I don't know if they guys next to me got a car or not because I was rushing to the next car rental locations but since it was 1 AM, they were all shutdown. Avis wasted my time, screwed up my plans, and made it almost impossible to find an alternate plan, resulting in me having to get a hotel room.

Loved the speed of the rental process. Speed at the reservation desk was quite good - maybe 3-4 minutes. Got off the elevator, spoke to a rep and were driving out in less than 5 after that. Fastest rental experience I've had. Even got to pick our vehicle, and picked the newest one with all the features...which my kids LOVED!
While it said it was in "SeaTac", if required a long walk out of the airport and to a neighboring business district. The walk was not that bad, but unexpected. When returning the truck, there was no one there, despite being during business hours (Friday afternoon). I dropped off the keys as requested, and even now, 72 hours later, have not received a confirmation, receipt, or anything from them. The staff was polite and professional during the check in and vehicle pick up process.
