No staff to rent car at kiosk in parking garage. Had to go downstairs and then come back. Would have been nice to at least out a sign in the garage kiosk

I was quoted one price when getting the car and no one was there when we returned it to get a receipt. Just had to leave and 'hope' all worked out. Then the bill comes and it is more than $40 over what I was quoted. Because no one was there to give me a receipt (when I could have asked questions and discussed what was going on and why the difference), it is leading to my having to make phone calls to 800 numbers to try to resolve this discrepancy. Not happy about that.
Hyundai Accent gets good gas mileage, but I booked a mid size vehicle. The attendant said we only have this left. He was with another company so didn’t go over anything. Used to taking pictures of any scratches or holes in seats. We have photos that the car had wear before we drove it. Over 40 k miles on a rental. A little higher than normal.
We rented several minivans and they were ready for us and were so helpful. Amazing customer service!
