We had a REALLY bizarre experience here, where somehow the morning of return, our car got damaged, and we lost the deposit. We were staying at a parking lot with cameras that seemed like it was in a safe area. It couldn't have been hit by another car because there was a curb and large strip of grass in front of the parking spot. And when we brought it back, the owner pointed out the damage almost before we even walked out to see the car. I hadn't even noticed at that point! This sounds crazy but it felt almost like they'd tracked the car and damaged it before return to take the deposit. I know that's dumb, but there were just really weird vibes to the whole experience. The car also had issues starting. Engine light was on since we picked it up but we were assured everything was fine. It didn't start on two separate occasions. Maybe try elsewhere!

We accidentally booked the car at the location 30 minutes away. The employee quickly identified the issue and they found us a car at the airport location. They did this by letting us take a reserved car and driving a replacement car up from the further location. No hassle and no extra charge. They were way more accommodating than what I have experienced in the US.

They tried to charge me an additional $600 for a 7 day rental for Liability insurance. It’s normally $13-15 a day. The company is apparently known for this shady practice.
