The layout of parking spots was not easy to find the vehicle. The info sent to me had a 4 digit parking spot id# but they were marked using 3 digits so I wasn’t sure if I was searching correctly. The front passenger window on the van we rented would did not roll up or down so was unable to open it on our trip. We dropped of the van at 11:00am on Sunday and as of 2:00am on Monday still have not received the email with the receipt even though my credit card already shows an additional charge for which I have no way of knowing what it was for.

They had no cars to rent on my date of pickup. I was told to come back in 3 days. My rental contract was for 4 weeks (28 days) but since i could not rent the first 3 days i was charged now for the last 4 days. I was told at rental that i could extend my rental. I was renting because my car was being repaired. So 2 days before the contract was to end i called the local store who told me they did not have the authority to extend and that i must call Hertz 800 number. I spoke to someone i in the Philippines who told me they couldn't extend but the local could. Ultimately i purchased another contract for the same car. When i returned to the local to change contracts i was told the car i had been driving was already sold and i must change cars. There was another customer at that location who made a reservation months ago and told there were no cars for her to rent. Herz oversells continually.

The lady that checked me out was excellent! My rental wasn’t ready on time she apologies for the inconvenience. Offered me different options after the rental arrived once I seen it’s wasn’t what I was expecting.

Why would hertz say they would rent me a car and call me after the rental was reserved and tell me they didn’t have a car to rent me. They probably rented my reserved car to someone else for more money.

terrible customer service on trying to adjust to a new pickup spot. KAYAK and Smart Fare did not help by advertising a car from a location different than the Louisville airport where I was searching. But once misled, trying to adjust thru Hertz was nightmarish. The online gave me no option to rebook to the airport location. Customer service told me my Confirmation # was wrong then hung up on me. Trying to email only allowed 7-8 question choices about what my problem was; none of which applied. Cancelled (for $100) and went elsewhere. Will never book thru KAYAK, Smart Fare or Hertz again.
Worst experience ever. Called in the am to tell me they did not have a car but would have one later that day. I called two hours to verify they would have a car before close. They told me they were waiting on the truck to arrive with the SUV’s and were given permission to stay after close until all customers received their rental. Needless to say it’s been a week after my reservation and never received my rental. The company did not make any type of follow up call about my rental. I was forced to find another vehicle during my kids spring break. This reservation was made a month in advance AND they called me a couple days prior of the reservation to confirm. I will never rent from Budget again.

I needed to switch the drop off location. Budget wanted to charge me $300 to do so! Ridiculous! I was prepared to pay $100, but $300 is insulting & greedy.
No cars available so had to wait approximately 4 hours for a car for the second time in 2 weeks. Will never use dollar again.

After a 1 hour drive to the airport for a one way car rental due to full flight I was told they had no car and wouldn't be getting any. There was a waiting list with over 20 people that had reservations for cars that weren't available upon arrival. The worse experience I've had in over 35 years in the airline business dealing with a rental. After calling Dollar the refused ti believe there was a car issue at that location.

The counter agent actively lied tome, changed my reservation, and ended up doubling my cost. I have reached out to Dollar repeatedly and every single cist service rep I have spoken to has told me I have to speak with someone else. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY

It was a one way drop from Louisville to Chattanooga due to Delta canceling my flight. The rental process was easy and although I booked standard-I got a Jeep.
Enterprise couldn’t/didn’t fulfill the rental. Called 36 hours before pickup to say, “Sorry. No vehicles available,” Offered no options to complete the transaction.

Arrange reservation the night before pick-up. vehicle selection was an estimated 30 different vehicle to choose from. Made selection received confirmation along with all conditions listed Estimated costs confirmed. Pick-up date confirmed and agreement time for payment listed. The day of pick-up a voice mail at approximately 9:00 am was left on my cell phone that Enterprise pick-up; location stated that there were no vehicles available for rental and none at any other location.

I want to make sure you know that this is for the location in the highlands in Louisville Kentucky it's located on bardstown road and my experience there has always been that they go above and beyond for those that rent the cars through their location however the Westport road location I did not have a good experience with they left me on hold for 24 minutes and then closed up the shop I was not happy with that location at all but Brandon in the highlands was excellent and so was his boss and I had a wonderful experience and I will come to that location again thank you

Dome light stayed on constantly. Would not turn off so was fortunate battery held up. Car was comfortable and met my needs. I was to pick up car at 9:00 and didn't arrive til later so service was very kind and got me a car as soon as they could. Wait wasn't too long at all. That was my fault and not yours.

The rep at the desk was rude and couldn't be bothered, instead of telling me credit card only she smuggly turned a sign around towards me and asked if I could borrow a credit card from someone. That is absolutely horrible customer service and kayak shouldn't do business with them

The pick up and drop off process was quick and easy enough, but the car we got smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and had obviously not been cleaned before we got it. We found trash and the vehicle was visibly dirty.
