Car was good, price was right. Not too long a wait to pick up car. Con: I had a question for Thrifty after I got the car, and it was nearly impossible to speak to someone. I finally found a number to call got the answer I needed, but only after a frustrating amount of time.
The windshield wipers did not work. I found that out on my last evening driving on a highway when it rained. Luckily, I was able to pull into a rest area and the rain passed in a few minutes. I did report this when I returned the car.
A cleaning charge of $45.00 was added with explanation.
The worst and more frustrating experience
I prepaid for my rental, we arrived on time and were told upon our arrival that we had a 3 hour wait to get our car. After expressing my outrage for the delay a vehicle was brought to us after a 40 minute wait. This is the second time we had a similar experience with Thrifty at the same location as we rented from them last year. I will never rent from this poorly run location again, or Thrifty in general.
