Absolutely horrible customer service. They did not honour our reservation or give us a car. We were kicked out of the rental agency even though we got charged the full cost of the rental. Never renting with Hertz ever again.

Legitimately the worst customer experience I've ever had. Turns out it was the manager of the branch. I'm truly shocked with how she behaved toward me. I'm really not a confrontational person, and was not doing anything to illicit her response.

When I tried to pick up a car, booking was cancelled Hertz suggested they can rent me a car at 3 times more expensive than original price I paid so I left. Initially when I realized this was USD amount I pressed cancel button but message showing I need to contact Hertz directly so I called Hertz number. Hertz automated message advised if I talk to an agent there will be 5% charge on the bill. So I decided to keep the booking since there wasn't big difference between USD and CAD amount. I got a confirmation email from priceline a day before pick up but booking was cancelled but no cancelation email was sent to me.. My exciting trip plan was ruined and I don't think I will use kayak again.
