They did not have any cars available when I went to pick it up. They tried extremely hard for hours, contacting every other Enterprise in town to try to find me a car, but the supply was so tight that they were not able to get me one. I was able to reschedule and the staff did try extreme hard to help me, but there was a major error which left me without a car when I needed it.

Toyota Corolla is a really nice car to drive, it has added safety when it comes with radar to check blind spots on sides mirrors and slip lines (crossing lanes) warning. I like this feature so much! The car was so dirty when picking up, The Hertz franchise "Dollar", their staff at SW Marine drive did not well prepared the car to the next customer.

I had my car booked to be picked up on a saturday at 12 pm but actually when i booked it on the website i booked it for pick up at 1 pm. And it let me go through and do the booking then i received a email that the pick up time will be 12 pm which fine sometimes you are a little late. No where in the email did it ay that they close at 12 pm. I got to the location by 12:30 and it eas closed. This was a huge inconvenience as i booked in advance to save money and had to end up renting a car from somewhere else last minute for a much more expensive price. There was no information on the website to say they closed at 12 and would be closed sunday too so not like i could even pick up the car the next day. There was a huge lack of communication, i even called them a week earlier to confirm my booking as ask about a shuttle from the airport and nothing was mentioned. And this did not just happen to me, there was other people there that were in the same situation as me. The company made it out that its my fault that i should have checked the closing time but why would the website accept a 1 pm pick up time and then show in hte email for 12 pm??? Like they should have caught this on their side even if i made a mistake and inform me so i could make other arrangements before hand. I was really dissapointed, i travelled from so far and tried my best to plan to avoid anything like this and it jus honestly ruined my day. I also called them many times when they were open the monday and tuesday and it would take me forever to get through to someone. They said they could honor my rate but i would still have to pay for the days that i didnt have the car...so i wa still going to be paying for 7 days tho i would only have the car for 4 days. Luckily another company matched it for me but still huge inconvenice. I was really disapointed. Either kayak needs to fix this on their side so that this company doesnt have bookings available for past 11 on saturday (due to possible delay in flights or uber) and no pick ups for sunday and not show it as a option. And add in the email their opening and closing times.

Stay away from this location. Employees are poorly trained 20 year olds in a back alley renting out filthy cars. The whole place smells like a wet dog. Worst experience ever.

Where to start? We arrived at Hertz (790 Southwest Marine Drive, Vancouver) to collect our car at approximately 3pm on August 25th. Upon arrival, we were informed that we were late and, as a result, that our car had been given away, regardless of the fact that we'd paid our reservation in full. Asking how we were to be informed of this policy, the clerk swiftly pointed us to a tattered and seemingly illegitimate notice on the glass of his kiosk. He was quick to inform us that it is the third party rental platform's responsibility to make this policy known to the customer. Note that this was at no point communicated to us through the Kayak booking process. Stating that all small cars had been removed from the lot due to lack of space, he naturally only had larger SUV's available at a rate 40% higher than what we already paid. We dished out the cash to salvage 11 days worth of road trip and bookings. Besides the lack of communication and the surcharges, the rental process was made extremely unpleasant due to the lack of professionalism of the personnel. The clerk who served us on arrival was condescending, rude, and ultimately unhelpful. Moreover, when I needed to obtain more information from Hertz during our trip, Anesh reluctantly answered after 6 attempts. He clearly had better things to do and was very quick to get me off the phone. Long story short: avoid at all costs, unless you take pleasure in these sketchy dealings.

Worst experience of my life. Rented the car months ago for my wedding. Received a call the day before telling me they no longer had a car for me. Had to change all plans to accommodate travel to my destination wedding and meeting relatives from the US and making sure they arrived safely. Would not recommend HERTZ to my worst enemy.

Good rental but prices were too high. Also, no heads up on a $350 hold on my credit card account, which I didn't have readily available. I had to call my credit card company to allow it to happen. A heads up would have mitigated that problem. Also allowed debit to be a form of payment would be helpful.
