Everything was great until we dropped the car off. They overcharged us for the car at the Avis destination. I'm trying to resolve with Avis. Part of it stems from the check-in. As soon as a car was turned in they handed the keys over to us. They didn't clean or disinfect the car, quickly captured the miles and gas and then sent us off. That was fine since we were wanting to hit the road but it ended up creating issues for us at the end. There was only a 1/2 tank of gas and that's how we returned it but it looks like we were penalized for it. We also were a few hours late because of traffic and they charged us an extra $100 for an extra day. So overall it ended up being a disappointing experience.

Too much hidden cost. I paid 300$ + 80 at the desk and surprise $ 640 for an old mega car that i would't. All for 10 days. $ more than $ 1000. Too expnsive

This was a last minute rental because of flight cancelation. The agent was friendly and helpful, the pickup and drop off were easy and uneventful. Through force of habit I typically rent from another company, Due to this experience I will rent from Avis in the future.
