I was unable to use your services when I landed because of some voucher issue. Had to come out of the pocket on the spot instead of going with the prepaid method. Really big inconvenience coming up with 600+ dollars on the spot for a week long rental.

Alex was very helpful. I appreciate that he was willing to help. When I got into town I was supposed to pick up the car off site away from the airport which I wasn’t aware of. He was able to get me into a car at the airport which was a major convenience.

The car was brand new and nice, although I waited a long time as the staff had no sense of urgency and there were other staff standing around On the return they just sat and waived me to drive up to the rental office and I kept asking if someone was going to assist me. They 2 employees just sat talking to each other and finally called someone to check in the car.

The wait at airport and confusion over what vehicle's that are actually ready and available was less than ideal but I understand . The truck we rented had a very strong smell of marijuana smoke that never went away all week. Especially noticeable after truck sat in 100* sun and then you opened doors.

Was renting a car for 2 days and was told i couldn't rent the car because i didn't have insurance. The whole reason for my car rental was because i didn't have a car. Got the collision package in case anything happened but it was pointless if i couldn't get the car. Wasted money for no service.

Economy Rent a Car were the ones who fixed my issue, while Kayak could not be reached. I will never do business with kayak again. No customer support what so ever as you make it so difficult to talk to someone to resolve booking issues.

I finally made it to my gate after a poor travel day to Ft Lauderdale; a local storm delayed many flights from getting in or even moving on the runway. So by the time I was finally off the plane; the airport was mobbed and there was water on some roadways making traffic even worse. After seeing Economy didn't have a desk at the airport I was a little worried, but the shuttle came in a very timely manner and then I was thrilled to be well taken care of at their relaxing off-airport-property. Manny at the desk made sure I had everything I needed and was taken care of before leaving in a clean and smooth running vehicle. Drop off was just as smooth! I didn't get any names beyond Manny but everyone was kind and I felt very taken care of; and for a great price! Thank you Economy Rent a Car Ft Lauderdale.

This company is a scam. Despite the fact that I had proof of insurance, they demanded that I show the declaration page of my policy. Of course nobody carries that around. I have been renting cars for many years and proof of insurance is all that is ever required. So they said that in order to rent a car, I would have to buy $46 worth of insurance from them. I left and rented from another company. Please issue a full refund plus an additional $50 for lost time and aggravation. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

I was shocked with my experience. I will never use green motion again. Period. I am disappointed in Kayak for even offering them as a provider. The process to pick up my car was an hour. I didn't want. It was the actual process. Horrible

Paid for the rental car online in full, had to take 2 shuttles from the airport to pick up, once got there I had to pay an additional $100 to purchase their insurance even though I have full cover insurance through my insurance company that covers rental cars. It was not disclosed in advance that I needed a minimum of $300,000 of insurance. I could have rented from well known rental places for cheaper than it cost and only would have had to taken one shuttle. The deposit was $500 instead of the usual $200-$300 deposit that most rental companies charge, because the deposit is equivalent to what your insurance deductible is. Makes no sense, if I had to purchase their insurance already anyway. The vehicle was dirty with food and footprints on the ceiling. The customer service reps were nice and friendly though, but overall not a good rental experience.

My flight arrived late and I came the next day to get my car. The Fort Lauderdale would not accept my insurance. They accept insurance from a small list of insurance companies. I have very good insurance which is accepted at all car rental places. I was being forced to buy liability insurance. Later, I came back and accepted that i will buy the liability insurance , i was refused any car since i had argued with them earlier saying that my insurance is good. I saw other customers being hassled in the same way. I later booked a rental car from another provider and had no issues at all.

This company is horrible!! Must be new. Really unorganized. Hours to wait. $2000 hold on credit cards for $75 dollar car.. must have certain insurance with certain companies. Really awful. Canceled and grabbed an uber

After an hour and a half wait in line they canceled on me because I didn’t have 300,000 property damage insurance cover which is insane and i refused to purchase their insurance for $40 a day (the car itself was $16 a day). Please check out their reviews on Yelp green motion is a huge scam!!!

The pick-up/drop-off system was good, but it was frustrating that the staff at pick-up were less than helpful. The staff made every effort to make themselves unavailable, and avoid any questions, simply directing me and other customers to the machines issuing the notes for picking up the car. The message to the customer was clear: "do not bother us, just read the instructions in the machine. If anything isn't clear, too bad for you". Extremely frustrating, when arriving tired from a long trip. I cannot imagine how an elderly person would be able to handle this poor service.

The counter Reps was excellent and professional and was actually listening and had a great sympathy. They say you always remember how someone makes you feel well She did that. Her name is Aura and the Black Man outside was also excellent. I have found my forever rental place.

Everything was great until we dropped the car off. They overcharged us for the car at the Avis destination. I'm trying to resolve with Avis. Part of it stems from the check-in. As soon as a car was turned in they handed the keys over to us. They didn't clean or disinfect the car, quickly captured the miles and gas and then sent us off. That was fine since we were wanting to hit the road but it ended up creating issues for us at the end. There was only a 1/2 tank of gas and that's how we returned it but it looks like we were penalized for it. We also were a few hours late because of traffic and they charged us an extra $100 for an extra day. So overall it ended up being a disappointing experience.

This was a last minute rental because of flight cancelation. The agent was friendly and helpful, the pickup and drop off were easy and uneventful. Through force of habit I typically rent from another company, Due to this experience I will rent from Avis in the future.

I did not agree to the prepaid gas and saw it on my rental agreement so I told the associate and he said oh don’t worry if you bring it back filled they don’t charge you . Well I brought it back filled and now they want a receipt sent to corporate of the full amount and will review the case . And of course you can’t speak to a human on the phone to rectify issue . Just be careful .

I became a Gold member in order to avoid lines and people. I was told I didn’t have to get in line just look at the screen for my name. My name wasn’t in the screen so I had to make a line. They finally tell me the exact location of my car. I get to it and I see a car that does not match what I rented. I asked two different workers there what do I do. Both of them tell me to just take the car. I explained to them I just arrived from a long flight and I have a baby. I do not want to be back and forth so please confirm. They both tell me just take it, not a problem. When I am leaving parking lot, the manager tells me I have to get all my things out of the car and go to a different car. I explained to him what his two workers have said to me and how I had already put my baby’s car seat in. Main reason I wanted confirmation before. He gets mad and me and tells me to move out the car quickly. I found it rude and disrespectful for him to treat me that way after I wanted to avoid all that and become a gold member for what? Still issues came nothing was smooth. I had my family of five getting out in the middle of the exit, rearranging the stroller and bags again. They refused to give me my license until I switched cars, acting as if I would steal something? I never cared for the car I just wanted to get my family to the hotel. The treatment was unnecessary especially since I was the one making sure which car to take. Avoid!

Booked with you all for a different location then wasn’t “allowed” to drop off to my selection point. Had to cancel last day and was only given $15 back for loss of a whole last day. Hertz informed me I was not allowed to drop off car at airport with a lock box or drop keys somewhere. Then when I took car a day early to Hertz in Port Charlotte, the manager told me I actually could have dropped off key to Punta Gorda airport, which was my original plan. Lost lots of money including paying fir Uber rides because I no longer had rental car. Horrible experience
