They closed before my flight landed, so I didn't get my reservation. Had to pay more to use a different company because of this. It cost me about $150 more with the other company, so now I'm out money because they closed when they still had a reservation and flights still to land.

The pickup was awful. After we checked in we were told there were no vans by an employee. Then we were told they had one but it was dirty and at another area. I was told it was being cleaned for us but then 10 minutes later the gentleman who was supposed to be cleaning the vehicle walked out of the building to go clean it. We were on a schedule and didn’t get the van til over an hour after our scheduled time. Nobody there seemed to care and we were never offered any other option other than waiting

Reserved my rental car early in the morning and drove 45 miles to the airport to pick up and they told me I couldn’t pick up same day and that I could come back tomorrow. If I couldn’t pick up the same day then they should not have allowed me to reserve the car.

customer service at hertz airport location is unbelievable. Representative and managers are very rude and unprofessional. They don’t accommodate you unless they’re feeling like it. Would not recommend

Huge line for pickup at MEM. Location was understaffed. Team there was working very hard, but closed while passengers were arriving late. Rental car was filthy -- likely no time for staff to clean it. Dropoff at BHM was very easy. It seems like Hertz needs to increase/lengthen its staffing model at MEM.

The Van was DIRTY. I had to buy cleaning products to clean the VAN.. Seats was dirty and stains. I had to cover the seats with sheets. Lights on dash board went out. No Radio, couldn't charge our phone. The Van was Terrible. It was Terrible, Terrible.

Avis is terrible! Would not recommend. They cancelled my reservation 3 days before pick up! I had reserved a car in March and cancelled in June. Staff left and voicemail then wouldn’t answer the phone. Finally got ahold of someone and they were extremely unhelpful! Would not recommend!!

Horrible. Locally owned horrible business. You can’t use a debt card to pay as stated online, they don’t recognize the insurance offered through kayak companies, didn’t have a vehicle ready at said location. I watched 10-15 people go through the line to get a car and maybe TWO actually received a vehicle and it was not with ease at that. Every person had an issue at the counter and the majority never got a car. Don’t waste your time or money. Tried two other services despite calling to verify they #1 had a vehicle type I was needing and #2 accepted a debt. After the third rental service I found an Enterprise care rental that suited all my needs except for it being 4 towns away. It would have almost been better to hitchhike.

It took a hour and a 10 min to do the check out and pick up the car. They had 1 person working the counter and over 20 people in line. Changed the rate on me approx 20 higher at the counter. After check out went to get the car and had to wait 20 min for them to clean it. Then went to leave and no none was at the check out area and had to wait another 10 min. The process of picking up the car was longer than my flight from Virginia to Tenesee. Terrible experience with budget. Staff was friendly but grossly under staffed.

There wasn’t even a car available for me when I was there and ended up being stranded because I was not a priority even with a reservation. I will never use them or their business again. And if they are in business with Kayak, maybe not Kayak either.

I had an SUV prepaid and reserved for a 10 AM pickup. When I got to the booth, I was told that there was a 90 minute to 2 hour delay. I waited over an hour then agreed to take a smaller car. I was told that there was no way to know when I could get the SUV I had paid for. There were 2 other people in front of me still waiting on SUV's. Then when I returned the car at 6 AM, they were not open. I had to drop it and hope it was still there and in good shape when they finally opened. DO NOT USE DOLLAR

I made a reservation months in advance through priceline and when I arrived there were several people ahead of me stranded. Dollar had no cars available and had made no attempts to alert people or make other plans. We were all just stranded. I ended up renting through another agency and now have to fight through priceline to get the refund for the portion prepaid. Breach of contract all around. I will never trust them again with any travel plans.

They did not have a car for me when I checked in. They told me to wait two hours and they would call me. They never called and they did not answer the phone when I called them. I called Kayak and not even Kayak could get a hold of them. Also the waiting area was just the dirty parking garage wall.

First, I paid for the car via Kayak. When I showed up to pick it up, I was told that third parties like Kayak had overbooked and there were no cars available. This left a lot of people stranded at the airport scrambling to try and find a car with another service. I would not suggest anyone use this if you want something guaranteed when you pay for it.

They don't honor same day reservations. So I make a reservation with Kayak, only to get to the Thrifty counter and find out they wouldn't honor it. I had to go to Alamo and ended paying $170 more than I was quoted for Thrifty. Poor experience.

Got to thrifty desk - no one in attendance -told by other customers that there was a 2 1/2 wait and no guarantee of a car. Cannot understand how you can book a car and then when you arrive no-one to serve you and then no avenue to cancel or contact the hirer. Will never use this service again. Totally the worst customer service I have ever used.

I booked with another rental car company. I arrived at 9 PM to find 16 other customers waiting for cars that they had reservations for. I immediately booked a car with Alamo, picked it up and was on my way in about 15 minutes. Thank you so much for saving the day.

Once I arrived home from picking up the rented vehicle, my wife and I started checking the car, cleaning, checking tire pressure. The back passenger tire had a screw in it and the tire pressure was low. My wife and I went to Discount Tire, had the tire repaired so our vacation should be with out tire issues. Had zero issues with the tires/vehicle while on vacation. Upon return, I mentioned the repair of the tire to fellow at enterprise and he helped me out with the rental price because of the tire. All in all, had a great experience.

Made a reservation for a car, got a confirmation. Then on the day I was supposed to pick it up, got a phone call from Enterprise that they didn't have any more cars. They offered to call me if any came in, but I cancelled the reservation. They should never have confirmed my reservation.
