Originally built to accommodate visitors to the Worlds Colombian Exposition in 1893, the guest rooms and suites of the Congress Plaza Hotel are truly spacious by todays standards. There are a total of 870 guest accommodations, including 36 deluxe suites, many of which overlook the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan. NO RESORT FEES.High speed internet in guest rooms is complimentary. Wireless internet in the lobby IS free for all registered guests. Adult rates start at age 15 and older for a fee of $30 additional per person. Smoking rooms are based on availability at check in. Iron/Ironing board & Hairdryer & safe deposit box in all guest rooms. Car parking is located just 1/2 a block from the hotel. Self-Park overnight is $64.00. No in-and-out privileges. 25.00 deposit per night required for incidentals
