TAP Portugal's Miles&Go reward programme caters to regular flyers' travel preferences and expectations. TAP Portugal is a member of the Star Alliance, and the programme compensates you for your TAP Portugal reservations by allocating miles as a refund. You may apply your miles to other alliance partners or use them to upgrade your TAP Portugal flights. You may also take advantage of several bonuses and unique rewards. Last-minute upgrades, priority standby, premium boarding, priority luggage handling, access to Star Alliance lounges, a Premium Customer Centre, seat protection and additional luggage allowance are all available at the airport. A companion ticket, additional miles and awards, a special birthday present, newspapers and magazines and the possibility to use your miles to purchase or upgrade tickets at a discounted rate are among the other benefits. There are three tiers of membership in the Miles&Go loyalty programme.

Passengers on TAP Portugal flights are allowed two types of luggage: carry on and checked. One piece of in-cabin luggage per passenger measuring 114.3 cm in length and weighing 8kg, plus one personal item is allowed. In economy class, you may carry 23kg of checked luggage per passenger, while in executive class, you can bring 32kg. Additional costs will apply if your luggage exceeds certain weights and dimensions. Before online check-in begins, you can pre-book additional luggage allowance.

When travelling with your pet on TAP Portugal flights, you must inform the airline when you book or at least 24h prior to your flight’s departure time. This is to reserve a space and ensure that your pet is suited to fly. You may bring small pets in the cabin as long as the pet is at least ten weeks old and the pet container is malleable. If it is a rigid container, the pet will have to travel as checked luggage. The total weight of your pet and its container must not exceed 8kg, and the dimensions must be 40.64 x 33.02 x 17.78 cm. If your pet is travelling in the hold, its weight must not exceed 32kg on journeys from and to the US, France, Netherlands and Hungary, or 45kg on all other journeys.
