Super friendly staff, prompt service and a great vehicle for the price. Will use again!
The counter was closed when we got in. We had to ask the National rental folks about the car. They were very friendly and helpful. Even though I had previously entered my payment info on line so I could avoid the counter, they needed it again. The car was had only a half tank of gas. They said that I did not have to fill it up when I returned it. Overall a good experience.

Pre-filling forms to allow picking up the car without standing in line was great. The return was quick, though the agent could not find the rental agreement. What could have been better? The car had been washed just prior to picking it up, was quite wet, and as a result, I was unable to properly check for scratches and dents. Additionally, the gas tank was not full at the time of pickup - something I mentioned to the agent at the exit. No guidance was given as to whether I needed to return it at the same fuel level or return it full. I returned it full, but that meant overpaying for gas.

The pickup process was very slow - I probably waited 45 minutes in line but that line was only 3-4 people deep! This was at 8 AM, so not an off-hours problem. And then when I went to find my car, there was no one at the booth who could help me. I wandered around the lot until someone from National helped me. The car I got was not what I asked for - a full size vehicle versus smaller, and I thought it would be a Toyota Corolla, but it was a Nissan. I guess there was a hidden "or similar" descriptor that I missed. The rest of my experience was good - the car did well through a snowstorm, which was huge. But the pickup experience is not what I remember from Enterprise, and frankly, that's why I picked Enterprise!

Enterprise was closed when we arrived, no one told us they closed at 5, even though we clearly stated our plane arrived at 430. Had to book with hertz and eat a $70 Uber ride.
The people were so nice!! So easy and I was in and out. What a great experience. I’m calling them first next time!!

Everything was great....people and product...except one issue...and it was a safety issue....the tires on the vehicle were worn past the point of being safe and needed to be replaced badly. I was quite surprised....eveything else with the experience was fantastic!

They / you told me to drop off the car in the wrong location. When I went to drop it off, they told me “it’s actually not here but somewhere else”. So i then had to go there. That screwed up my day a lot.

Searched for and wanted the airport in MSP however, it was booked offsite, charged $100 to correct it. Long line at pickup with only one person working, Once checked in I was sent to another long-understaffed line.
Was told gas price was different than it was. Did not have car I was supposed to get. Got over charged for gas.

I liked the price, the vehicle had some left over garbage and wasn't washed but that was not a big deal. When we arrived we had to stand in two separate long lines to get vehicle, but I was told to update my budget profile to potentially skip the reservation desk. However, regardless the pick up the keys desk was congested and it took nearly 1 hour between the two.

I had to cancel this reservation when I arrived at Budget b/c it was for a electric car and they didn't have one. They refunded me the rental I did with you all and gave me a gas car. It was just a lengthy process and cost me more money.

Worst rental experience in my life! Couldn’t find my reservation, then said it was at a different location. Told me to take the shuttle, waited, no shuttle came. Went to car area, told me there was nothing they could do. Long line of people waiting for cars, people complaining that their car wasn’t available and given a pick up when they couldn’t drive one. Another customer came back because air didn't work. Went to counter again, was told again to go to other location. When asked how to get there I was told either light rail or Uber. I finally took a taxi at my own expense, got to the door and that location was closed!! It had been closed since before my plane even landed. My taxi had left, had to call another to take me to my hotel, again at my own expense. Missed my event that evening. I did not keep the reservation and have complaint with company in process. I will never use them again.
I found that somehow while checking to see if my Reservation was in order, somehow it duplicated my Reservation. Well, the Rep at St. Paul (Micah), pointed that out right away, and told me what I needed to do to resolve this issue. Which was great, and resolving the issue was not hard, and was handled in a very efficient manner. But then he turned around and told us that we could upgrade from a Toyota Camry to BMW 2 series for around $5.00 a day. I choose initially not to rent the BMW 2 series, because the rate was almost double. Then when we got the invoice, we saw that there was not any discount on the BMW whatsoever it was nearly double. We don't like the idea, that you will receive a copy of your invoice, in your email in 15 to 20 minutes. That way no verification. I also did email a claim, but so far nothing, except a response was they only check the canceled reservation.

Airport concession fees that weren't disclosed in the estimate increased the prepaid cost of the rental by 20%. I would have expected KAYAK to require the concessionaires to disclose those fees. Pick-up and drop-off were fine, the free upgrade on the vehicle was nice, but I would have chosen a different option if the fees had been disclosed.

What an atrocious rental car company let alone one offering services in an airport. These inept people allowed me to make a reservation, get there at 9pm and tell me the little hairline crack on the top of my license they would not rent me a car. I travel all over have airline and hotel status from the volume and have never had an issue from any other rental company, TSA or body. And your at the airport obviously you just came in what does Sixt think your going to do? Absolutely moronic - walked over and rented from the next place without issue. I chose them because it said they were in the terminal. Upon arrival I found they had closed down at terminal two and that I needed to take the tram to terminal one. After doing this I found that they closed down at 10 pm. Attempted to phone but could not get through the automated system to a live body to ask what to do. I rented with another company and then found that they charged me the entire amount and then later said that I owed a 200$ penalty for not canceling. They later dropped it after I contested the charge with my credit card.

The lady at the desk was brutal. I wanted to change my booking from three days to one day. She said she couldn’t do it. On top of that she insisted on charging me for three days insurance. There was no effort to work with me.

Pick up was chaotic with several cars untenable due to smoke smell. No one to help with pickup which resulted in having to take a larger size car and being told on exit that it would be more expensive. Car we choose was also only 1/2 full w gas. Drop off was totally different. The desk staff was very helpful and made sure we were not up-charged or charged for gas we didn’t use. Good customer service.

I reserved a 'standard' car. When I arrived they didn't have the car I reserved (basically didn't have any standard size car to give to me), and told me they could upgrade me to an SUV for an extra $20. This is horrible customer service- if they don't have the car I reserved, they should at least comp the upgrade. But what was even worse was that the "upgrade" SUV was something called a Nissan Kicks, which is not really an SUV at all and is actually much smaller than the car I had originally reserved. So ultimately I ended up paying more for a downgrade. Terrible experience.

The service itself was great. The insurance options provided during the checkout process suggest that their insurance is mandatory, which it is not.
My flight was delayed that day and I decided to rent a car at the last moment, but put in the next day, rather than that same day. Hertz refunded my money for the rental after I cancelled, even though they did not have to.

I had a car rented for an 8:30am pickup and when I got there they said they wouldn’t have a ar for at least 2 hours. There were no cars to be had so I have to Uber to and from Rochester MN for $200+.

When I entered the vehicle it smelled like smoke. After driving it a bit we realized the smell was of marijuana. After driving to Florida with newly purchased air fresheners I started looking for the source. I found 2 sizable buds under the drivers side passenger seat along with a large amounts of loose leaves. Unfortunately this did not fix the issue. We had to drive back to Mn with that nasty smell. Very dissatisfied by my experience and am telling all who will listen. I will be expecting some or all of my money returned.
