Prices for flights from Manchester Airport to Pakistan are refreshed on a daily basis.
There are 12 operators available for flights from Manchester Airport to Pakistan as of March 2024.
Although the minimum age for a child to fly alone is five, airlines that offer an unaccompanied minor (UMNR) service may have their own age limits, which could be impacted by factors such as flight length, timing, and layovers. It is recommended that you verify with the airline you are booking with for travel from Manchester Airport to Pakistan.
The required travel and health documents for your Pakistan trip may vary depending on your itinerary and personal circumstances. As a general rule, you should carry multiple documents, including a national ID card or driver's license and a passport valid for six months after your intended arrival at Pakistan. We recommend that you seek guidance from your airline or a reliable third party such as IATA.
Manchester Airport is set in a convenient location, accessible from nearby towns via various motorways such as the M62 and M60. The airport has three terminals, with a recent upgrade to Terminal 2 to make it more modern and secure. There is a FastTrack service to get you through the security and passport check much quicker, as well as Special Assistance Services for those with motility problems or “invisible illness” such as panic disorder; there is the Sunflower Room in Terminal 1, where such passengers can get away from the crowds and noise. Two lounges provide relaxation areas with food and beverages and more. Islamabad International has Muslim prayer rooms with ablution areas all around the airport. There are also free mobile charging booths placed around the airport. And lounges provide quiet spaces before your flight. If your flight from Manchester has arrived late at night, you can book a room at an internationally reputable hotel such as the Marriott – simply look out for the reservation counters at Arrivals.
There are excellent public transport options that can take you to Manchester Airport. Choose a train provided by the TransPennine Express or Northern Rail – available every 10 minutes, they travel from the centrally located Manchester Piccadilly Station to the airport's Terminal 2; the other terminals can be reached via the Skylink. You could also take the 24-hour Stagecoach bus from the city centre to the airport's aptly named stop The Station. From there you can reach all the terminals within a 10-minute walk, or simply jump on the airport's Skylink. From Islamabad International Airport, you can arrange for a Metro Radio Cab that operates around the clock (you will find the stand in the Concourse Hall), or get an Uber. You can also hire a car at the airport, but we do not recommend driving yourself through the bustling, and sometimes confusing, streets of Islamabad.
The best way to get around Islamabad and the rest of Pakistan is via taxi; if it is not a metered cab, you can negotiate a fare beforehand. There is also the Daewoo Express bus available – there is a counter at the airport at the GTS Workshop. Rawalpindi is only a few kilometres from the airport and is a great place to find souvenirs at the many markets. Nurpur village is a Muslim pilgrimage spot containing the shrine of the 17th century saint, Syed Abdul Latif. Further away is Murree city, a popular summer resort – the journey there by bus is just as scenic, and on the well-maintained Murree Expressway. If you are a history buff, make the longer trip to Peshawar with its fifth-century AD fort, Mughal era mosque and thousand-year-old Qissa Khawani Bazaar.
